don't think she's after revenge. I think she's disappointed that the killer whom she idolises is now a mother…
kinda does... eg you idolise a doctor who was at the top of their field but now chooses to be just a mother and loves it... you can't help being disappointed because you feel being a mother is def less than that of being a doctor... same exact thing... it's her mindset

Gotta say I think this is most natural I've seen Hu Yi Tian in a role. I was questioning whether he'd still be able to play a high sch role convincingly and he's doing well so far. He's softer than any of his previous roles and it speaks volume to his growth as an actor as he normally plays the opposite role.

I'm liking the tone and pace so far, very wholesome and just calming. I've been missing this genre and it's nice to be back at sch with this lot.

yeah dont they see that we already had NUFF of those stupid FLsit is like we are watching 1950s sexism
Maybe it's a requirement for weekend dramas as evidenced by Young Lady and a Gentleman, Once Again and Our Golden Days etc

Is the poison chick delulu?!?! Without Bo Na killing her father she would have been dead. In fact, the father…

After two episodes, I still can't buy the premise. My biggest issue isn't that the series leaves questions unanswered.…
so far, I kinda like it... it gives me more WANTED vibe without all of its good stuff lol... I like seeing how she can balance the two lives as only a woman can 😛 as for the targets being male, no biggie, statistically 90% (don't quote me on that 🤪) of all recorded homicides and violent crimes are by men, making them the vast majority of violent perpetrators, so dunno your reasoning for pointing that out.

You're expecting the drama to be a full on action about a killer who is a mother and wife whereas my take of it is that it's more meant to be a mother and wife who is a killer and the drama is about how she navigates that. The tension doesn't come from how she kills, it comes from how she manages to buy groceries, hide her sniper rifle from her husband, and raise a toddler while doing it. It shows her priorities have fundamentally shifted.

Fl doesn’t really have the badass vibe or face in her. Not even the attitude. Bad casting. Even the ml is so…
that's the whole point, isn't it? that she's changed?

These family dramas always end up being so frustrating with the FL being a doormat then you gotta wait for weekly episodes, no thx, will wait till it finishes.

I had avoided this because I was never in the mood for anything too emotional or heavy. However, the characters and the story feel like exactly the warm blanket one needs this winter. It's a beautifully nostalgic, slow burn comfort watch that wraps you up in the sun-drenched charm of old Jeju Island. Pure heart from start to finish. 🩷

So far, a mediocre, mid-budget B-rated production with sloppy editing and ridiculous continuity errors.

As for the leads, casting is a total mismatch there. Ting Hui looks way too old for Ying Gua. CZY’s somehow looks younger here (!) so his youthful, boyish features just clash with WJY’s more mature presence, giving off an awkward vibe rather than the powerful dynamic the show intended. Dunno if there's gonna be any romance but it's already hinted at and even that was awkward - a bit forced & hurried.

Will put it on the PTW list for now til it ends and also adjust my expectations 🫠

If your character requires you to be a bad actress, and you actually are, are you then a success? 🤔🤷‍♀️

oh wow hahaha exactly what I thought but I'd give it at least a 5... I'm not surprised by all the guidance reviews as they hardly mentioned anything of substance.

quite a few things didn't really get resolved...
It's understandable from his perspective too as he had to grow up fast and had a perceived responsibility of her when her mother left her behind. He probably didn't know how else to protect her.

the chemistry between the leads is great.the acting is great throughout from all actors/actresseshowever I am…
probably why they never elaborated on his time away, which was a missed opportunity I think. Instead we're given bits and pieces which in the end invokes more annoyance than curiosity.

Ep16, things finally is moving ahead with these two. When chen yi was carrying miao jing on his back i was smiling.…
so Tu Li should be given consideration even though the whole situation is her own doing?! She needed to be in a fake relationshio, she got that. No one owes her anything. Being a girls girl doesn't mean you should feed someone's delusions, you're not doing them any favours like that. She was never led on by Chen Yi, he was truthful from the beginning.

Did I miss a scene or something because they never showed why Tu Li called Cen Ye out the front of his office? How did they know each other etc?

This had been in my PTW list for a while as I'm not a big fan of LYN or even the FL after watching her in a 2019 drama. So glad I started. Am up to e14 and loving how vicious and decisive the FL is when it comes to killing 😄
