If the guy I'm in love with, who has confessed to me numerous times, turns up to take of his drunken ex, I'd be pissed too. All his credibility is shot.

He's true to himself - when he didn't like her before he was direct about it, now that he likes her, he's direct about it too. He has a spine and his character has integrity. - ML's character - he makes a promise to his ex and blames the FL for it like he did it for her. Still a coward. She wouldn't be un this situation but for him so take responsibility!!!Even when he decides he'll stand beside the FL, he'll only do it AFTER he knows how she feels - that's a condition and that ain't love. If he truly loved her, he'd stand by her side no matter how she feels as she deserves it after he's been jerking her around.
