I’m glad the drama redeemed itself in the end by having Yeon Joo plotted HSH’s downfall as she’s very capable, & smart unlike HSH who simply kill to get what she wants. HSH is evil to the core. I got sentimental at the scene where Yeon Joo bid Yoo Jun goodbye. He was definitely a godsend.😎 👍🏻

His dad could so long as he’s an authorised person for such transactions (chances are MK is holding corporate credit cards). Shareholding /control is separate from daily operations/functions. Eg, you could be a major shareholder of a company but you don’t necessarily have the power to execute certain business transactions as this is delegated to board of directors, managers etc., but these latter executives are answerable to shareholders.

A great plot point rarely seen in kdrama is that MK owns Dondon Holdings which control/owns Dondon F&B. Daebak! This clearly shows that it is mainly MK who built Dondon. Can’t believe step bro so stupid as not to know who are the shareholders in their family business, & rely on job titles, his being Chief Director while MK is a Director (i was surprised & puzzled when I saw the organisation chart few epis ago but now I understand why MK didn’t need to have a more senior role than his step-bro as he could fire his step-bro if he really wants to).

Is real unfortunate that this drama is not favoured more by kviewers. I luv this drama. MK’s dialogue is always so on point, meaningful, heartfelt, sincere & direct. Luv MK’s secretary, & colleagues at the museum have finally grew a backbone with integrity, loyalty. Wish writer let FL show a more steely character over time,

HSW said it was his friend who was at his father’s office doing some work that found the accounts discrepancies & told him, & he told his dad. Wasn’t SH leaving the factory when she supposedly hit YJ’s grandma? Her remark about it would be difficult for her uncle to escape the big fire could also mean she actually knew what already happened to her uncle, ie he’s already dead before the fire started (because the fireman said it was strange that it seemed there was no struggle made to open the factory gate/door & HSW’s dad was found lying flat on the ground instead of in a corner etc.). No autopsy was done too.

It was Dali’s cousin’s drugs, seemed rather hefty amounts so they must cost alot. Dali’s cousin knew & threatened to expose Na Gong Joo’s background unless she does what he say. Na Gong Joo only realised from Won Tak recently that Dali’s dad knew about her background all along & he was the one that got her free from her debts.

Wow Jin Moo Hak 🥰🙆🏻‍♀️😎. He’s not just understanding, kind, etc but the way he finesse the situation & addressed the adoption topic was simply awesome. From addressing his relationship with Chak Hee to Dali doesn’t or kinda resembles her dad that ultimately made her laugh & breathe was 1 of the best kdrama dialogue I’ve ever seen.

I like the show extremely but i keep wondering how can the leads underestimate the wickedness of the current Han family esp after LBS got killed in prison despite protection? Too naive when they alrdy know that family will kill to get what they want altho no evidence. i want to see FL beat Min-Na meanest sis-in-law at managing the hotel biz becos she can. Han family tries to be this highly cultured elite rich but they came across as most uncouth group of hyenas. Lastly, YooJun rocks, he was steadfastly strong in the face of Prosecutor Ryu’s threats to his family & him but can see he became vulnerable a bit when Prosecutor Ryu brought up fake Min-Na aka Yeo. Joo.

Ah I like Yoo Jun. 😎 Prosecutor Rye is amusing. Yeon Joo’s uncles are always hilariously looking for potential nephew-in-law. These kept the drama entertaining cos I’m not keen on watching family members just politicking over control/money/assets… is tiresome.

Ep 10 was daebak, mad respect for the way MH handled/replied to TJ. Awesome. Great communication between CP abt the land issues so that there is no or less misunderstanding between them. 🙌🏻🙆🏻‍♀️😎

M totally not surprised by that snake Tae Jin 🐍. I don’t think it was extenuating circumstances that’s beyond TaeJin’s control that made him stopped the wedding. I think Dali’s dad realised it later & didn’t want anything to do with TaeJin thereafter. M guessing TaeJin’s ultimatum was the art gallery when Dali pleaded with him not to end things just days before the wedding, to which she couldn’t agree as it is her dad’s lifelong love & creation, otherwise she said she would agree to any/all of his demands.

A wonderful & entertaining drama so far. Like the ML’s character so much. Although he’s not the typical highly educated, cultured, cool (& usually v rich) ML, but he’s smart, sincere, bold, good hearted, direct & open. A refreshing change. FL is dur, frustrating at times but she’s learning, & willing to accept changes, & frank. Hope misunderstanding in ep 9/10 will clear up soon like in past episodes. Fighting 💪🏻

True, we could have more of the romance between the CP but it is what it is. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Moo Young (o_o) … he deserves more as he’s most loyal to HaRam. It is a fantasy romance drama, heavy on CheonKi & HaRam’s love story, so I don’t expect usurping the throne, HaRam & his gang’s revenge on the royal family, MaWang or even the sealing ceremonies to take centre stage. These are plotlines to move their love story forward; from HaRam trying not to acknowledge CheonKi in the beginning for fear of implicating CheonKi in his revenge (which could likely end badly) to admitting his love & protecting CheonKi. Thoroughly enjoy the series.

Ep 13 …real intense sealing ceremony; it didn’t end either way as foretold or else what will happen to rest of epis.

FL lead supposed to have some years of experience but is unprofessional almost from beginning. Understandable that she got upset, insisted on continuing the case when her dad was thought to be the bad guy in stealing the national treasure & when her uncle was found to be shady. But ignored rules & supervisor’s order like is a must do or else die matter on wanting to join in the search to look for the missing uncle is unjustified. So off-putting.

Is a romantic historical fantasy drama, not a wuxia, or heavy on political intrigue drama; so enjoyable with deep feelings & sprinkled with humour if one goes with the flow.

Yes, thot about it too … then in ep 11 when HaRam was taken away by the guards, the screen cut briefly to the painting Cheon Ki did of him.

Alrdy at ep 22, FL got cold feet & thought of not mtg ML’s parents … 😓🙄 what crap & waste of time segment. Must as well split, no need to meet forever. It already doesn’t make sense that the ML’s parents did not meet her (yet his mum was all anxious when heard FL was coming) at ML’s mum’s gala party but only met FL’s grandma. So infuriating drama trope, plot line. Er … the beanie she wore to meet future MIL … whats with that … & this after much consultation with bestie abt what to wear for 1st meet? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Baffled me. Like the CP actors & ZYT is 1 of my fav C-actress , o/wise i wld hv given up long ago. Just 2 more episodes to go tonight.
