Fast paced and strong characters. Almost mid-way thru drama, no dull moments.
worth watching.

Despite the drama flaws, DYX as the ML has done very well in his role, think he beefed up since his early acting days and he looks much better for it. He emotes very well. His hair, makeup, attire are beautifully & his fighting scenes brilliant.
The FL's acting is good considering her age and experience but not so much of her character in the earlier episodes. Luckily, she's more self aware and see the bigger picture as the drama progresses.
Empress Dowager's character is inconsistent .... anyway, hardly come across any great Emperor, Empress or ED in dramas except Love like the Galaxy. Can't tolerate certain characters, so spoil the viewing enjoyment for me that I had to fast forward/skip.

And there the FL went, supposedly smart but insisted on investigating on her own with no fighting skills, fell into trap, when already knew the ongoing plot is too complicated involving many powerful parties. 😐. How many times her hubby has to rescue her from being killed to being framed. 😓 Not feeling bad about any bad thing falling on her. Need to be alive & free to investigate. Not sure how far I’ll watch.

Both ML & FL acted really well for their roles, watched up to ep 10 so far. Knew DYX is a fairly good actor & he portrayed the ML’s fearsome character well. The drama’s pace is good too, threading & tying up the various crimes as it progresses, indicating a larger sinister plot.

Can’t tolerate Ma Rong. After following ML for years & solving cases, she’s still so impetus, obnoxious, unreasonable, rude, break laws,, cause problems, never learnt. ML should retire her.

Agree. At epi 11, she's still so unprofessional. She can express her personal feelings but not in front of client. She persists despite getting the boss death stare. She should also know better that her boss has his reasons and talk with him after meeting. The audacity of her not wanting to work on the case because of how she feels & disagree with the boss. LOL She would have been fired in other law firm, never learnt her lesson, not suitable for this type of work if she doesn't wise up. M dropping this.

Really like & enjoyed the drama very much. Fairly different from high school to adulthood dramas where the ML is invariably aloof. Can't believe I cried along with SZ when she's heartbroken & cried. Personally, a testatment to ZLS' great acting skills. Love the supporting characters in addition to the CP. Great acting all round & assemble.

I've seen Kido in a few supporting roles and I thought he acted really well in them. I'll check this one out.

May be YooRa did a smirch campaign against Hari by letting on to the press that Hari is 2-timing with MW & KTM (hence in preview Hari said they even released KTM’s info) when MW broke up with her after he found out what a vile miserable person she is from the start. In this way, YooRa would also get to destroy Hari & KTM relationship (& Kang’s family objection to their relationship) which she is so jealous of.
Also think grandpa is testing Hari or the preview purposely misled us about grandpa.
During their date, think Hari was trying to replace KTM’s trauma during the rain with pleasant & sweet memories.

Seo Kang Joon acted well in this. Couldn’t recognise Kim Ah Joong. 🤭

Don’t think the misunderstandings, if any regarding this will be dragged out. This drama has been quick to resolve accidental misunderstanding.

She was already rude & childish before that incident. Is not just after 1 incident thing. While good at heart, her behaviour doesn’t reflect a person her age & attuned to the various circumstances or surroundings.

Upto ep 2, LZX is so unreasonable, rude & childish & I thot her dad was domineering & rude. A disappointment as i was looking forward to like it. 👋🏻

I think that scene is to show that Hari noted how possessive YooRa is towards Min Woo. It also showed YR’s insecurity. If Hari & Min Woo didn’t have a close relationship, the instability of YR & Min Woo’s relationship, YR would not have behaved in that way in that group because everyone are old friends & know she & MinWoo are in a long term (albeit on/off) relationship. The display made Hari awkward, thus she played down her role/involvement in Min Woo’s success to avoid misunderstanding plus she’s humble too. I believe she’s over Min Woo, they are still friends but, can no longer be close friends.

Min Woo & his girlfriend are the worst considering they are supposed to be Hari’s friends, esp Min Woo. Both must have regarded Hari as inferior to them because they always assumed she would not have a boyfriend. (What a joke!) Min Woo got jealous when heard Hari is seeing someone & belatedly realised how good a friend Hari is to him because she has helped him tremendously in establishing his restaurant menu, his presence/name in the chef/restaurant industry. His girlfriend probably got back with him after she realised that he has established a restaurant. She’s also mean by not giving Hari credit for her contribution to Min Woo’s success. I truly hope Tae Mu would teach them a lesson & rightfully put them in their place.

ML lost so much weight. I regarded him as good looking in the prequel but now, i find it hard to look at him. M not sure what’s going on in Cdrama land/entertainment industry, come across so many actors/singer losing lotsa weight! 😐 quite disconcerting.
