A really great life lesson kdrama!

Without spoilers, i’ll explain this in the most general way possible.

A lot of people throughout the show began to give up due to how many episodes there are but honestly speaking, it was quite reasonable for there to be many episodes. It was reasonable for it to have this many episodes especially with how the story ending was.

High school is really a place where lots happen. This drama has portrayed the perspectives of many different characters, basically also showing how each student in school can have their own ways of viewing life. Despite it having some fillers, these things are really important to realize. They’re also very realistic and portray a good example of high school and how students can be in their high school life. There was lots of character development with the characters, and like I said, even though it took long, they really showed the true development of a student. It shows how much one can change from the beginning to end of high school.

I can really say that it was worth sticking around till the end because of how I can relate to some of these things as a former high school student. There was so many things that were brought to life in this show that I, myself, didn’t even realize. It makes you believe that you don’t have to keep sticking to your usual or normal doings, and that exploring life while you can makes things a little better so you won’t regret anything. The growth as a teenager is SO SO important! Going through this self-growth in your “teenage-hood” before you reach the age 20 is good. There are hardships here and there but all of that will really help you in the end and can create memories for yourself, whether it will be a good one or one that may suck but taught you a lot.

This drama really teaches you that high school is not what everyone thinks it is. There isn’t only happy moments involved but there’s also the negative parts that almost help you get through life as a high schooler as bad as it sounds. This teaches so many things and the main thing is that it teaches you to live life without regrets. Even if there may be regrets, don’t let that affect the way your present and future will be.

The acting was amazing as well. It’s great how they all went by their real names and I guess that gives you more of a sense to act like yourself knowing you are being called by your own name. The music was great too! I really love the songs that Eunsang and Young K made.

This drama covers a lot of different things btw! Romance, School Life, Trauma, Bullying, Social/friend life, etc etc. It’s really good and I hope people consider it and are patient with it!

nothing special, but very random

of course like majority of the viewers, i have only watched this for hyunjae lol

the drama is something that isn't really a drama, its kind of like you're reading a oneshot/imagine fanfic, but except real life version lol. it was very short, and 2 episodes was understandable because the production team only makes 2 episodes or so for their dramas, but i definitely think it deserves more because hyunjae's acting was great and this short plot is something that could be extendable!

its a really random drama lol you can literally watch this at like 1am when you don't know what to watch or even while waiting for your fave kdrama to upload a new episode!

i hope other members of the boyz get to act as well ! and i hope they consider making more episodes because it got quite a decent amount of viewers for them to extend it !

An enjoyable drama to watch!

Alright, since I watched this drama religiously for Younghoon, Jihoon and Dayoung, I'm going to make a short but in-depth review for each rating (story, characters, etc) because I enjoyed this story and the OSTs quite a lot and am really expecting a season 2 after a cliff-hanger type of ending! It's a big recommendation!

Story: the story itself was something expected from a webtoon-based drama, a group of high schoolers, at least 1-2 couples within that group, the drama, the unrequited love, etc. It really portrayed the timeline of Gongjoo and Wangja's relationship very well, and showed lots about each character's personality as well! There really isn't anything surprising to the plot as it's a typical high school romance kdrama, but I personally never get tired of these dramas and the drama portraying many different scenarios from dramatic to comedy scenes makes it enjoyable to watch.

Acting/Characters: All the characters have such amazing chemistry on the set! I was really surprised by how well Younghoon, Jihoon and Dayoung acted in this drama! I've stanned all of them for so long and they really pulled off their characters well! Daeun and Ruby, and the rest of the friends also had such good acting skills and the characters they had really match them well. As for the characters, it really disappointed me how Kyeongwoo and Minji did not have a relationship, but I have hopes that a 2nd season will portray that! The character development of Jarim was great, and it made me smile how Gongjoo felt happy when she finally grew into a person to show her feelings. Give Jinhui, Byunghoon and Kyungmin someone!! Also, I hope Minji becomes more honest with her feelings when (if) season 2 comes out because I feel kinda bad for Sanghoon. Ah Ram and Jisoo are also sooo funny.

Overall: The OST by ONF, Not a Sad Song, is such a good song, and it's so refreshing. I really enjoyed this drama as a whole and the characters being portrayed by my fave idols just makes me love it even more. Again, the chemistry is just there with all the characters. I hope that it will be like A-Teen almost, where season one focuses on one pairing, then season 2 will focus on another pairing within the friend group because I can't let Kyeongwoo and Minji go like that. We need them to be the end game for a potential season 2. It also wouldn't make sense if there was no season 2 for a drama like this and for that kind of ending, with an introduction to a new character and the photos of the cast with Minji and Kyeongwoo looking in the same direction. Let's hope for a season 2 !!!

cute, simple and short !

now that its finished, i can say that this is something you can obviously finish within an hour

overall, its nothing too special but its such a simple and cute drama as expected from dingo to watch and support your faves! it was something enjoyable for me because i semi-ult ab6ix, pentagon, victon and golden child and subin wooseok and donghyun are my biases haha

the ending was quite short and seemed rushed but i do understand its a mini drama and not much plot in it. i'd rewatch it for the sake of my biases haha, just wished they gave wooseok and jaehyun more screentime. it would have been an amazing little web drama if they made it longer and i like the concept of us picking who the male lead would be

their acting was amazing, especially because its all their first time acting and i sincerely hope that they all get to be in longer length kdramas and each play a big role because they deserve it!

i hope they are like this other drama i watched where they give alternate endings for each of them because it would definitely be something great if they did that!

Nothing too special but cute drama!

I will try my best not to spoil too much with my in-depth review, but if you haven't watched season 2, don't expect too much from it and for it to be different from season 1. I'm going to be making some comparisons though with both seasons. If i do have anything I say wrong, please let me know! (my bad memory)

Story: the storyline was nothing too special, just like the first season. This isn't a huge spoiler as it is a given from the season 2 preview but yes, it t repeated the switching again, and going on a variety show but except with more characters and not just focused on Junseop (Jungwoo) and Jisoo (Daeun/Byeol). I feel like this drama could've shown more about the stories of each individual, I mean yes they were there, but it felt too bland to me. I get it, it's a short web drama, but more detail about the character's could've been given other than their feelings of love, hatred, jealousy, etc. Now here is a possible spoiler to those who haven't finished it yet. For the last episode, I really enjoy it because of how cute jungwoo and daeun are, but I wish they would've showed what Eden, Dohyun, Hwain and Luni were doing after the variety show ended. The last episode focused too much on Daeun and Jungwoo, which I personally don't mind, but generally speaking, I wish that we at least get to have some sort of sense as to where the antagonists and the supporting characters were. The relationship between Daeun and Jungwoo confused me a little bit at the beginning as well since she was mad at him but suddenly gave in? And Jungwoo acting cold to her at first meeting, even when he knew he wasn't able to talk to her because of his brother or something? Also I wish they let Daeun know that Jungwoo was supposed to be partners with him but instead they threw that away and just let it be. And the preview is misleading, because I still don't remember where Daeun said "Let's break up" to Jungwoo like shown in season 2 preview. (unless i'm wrong and just imagining things)

Acting/Characters: In my opinion, there wasn't much character development given to each of the characters, which is normally fine considering it is such a short drama. I'm a fan of character development for characters, and its what makes me so intrigued with whatever drama I'm watching, but the characters didn't really do much to help themselves. For example, Luni and Eden just stayed as the antagonists from start to end, and like mentioned, it would have been great to see if anything was going on after the bad things they done on the show. Is Eden out of his dad's company? Is he abroad or something? Is Luna also out of her company already? (considering she had her contract expiring or something, and was supposed to go to Eden's company). So much unanswered questions for the character! All the characters really just stayed the same. For the acting, I personally think they are all great actors in their own way. Of course, there is room left to improve to become even better, since most of them I assume hasn't been in many dramas, but they know how to show the chemistry amongst one another which is something I noticed! (especially with Jisoo and Junseop) I never would've expected these two to be co-stars together and I've known them both for a while because of their kpop groups.

Overall: The OSTs for this drama aka the songs from this whole drama was amazing! I enjoyed hearing Woohee and Junseop's voice together, as well as Gitaek and Jisoo! All are amazing singers really, and I've known all of the idols (except gitaeok) to know that they can show their talent effortlessly even in acting. It was quite a cute, cliche drama, and since I don't mind watching the typical cliche plots, I'm not complaining too much about this drama, other than the fact that the whole storyline could've been better and had potential to be better, and to further show the stories of each person a little bit more. It felt rushed in a way, and there's lot of unanswered questions I have that they never answered, so I honestly say that season 1 was better than season 2 because at least there was a story there, where Jungwoo and Daeun build their relationship, along with Byul and the other guy, and it leading to the truth of Jungwoo finding out her identity.
