i wasn't getting good vibes from wu yeol initially, but in this ep he lowkey redeemed himself. He was quite proactive about his feelings during the dinner. He could've acted vague and led both women on like I wholeheartedly expected him to do, but im glad he didn't. He still seems way too smooth for my own liking, honestly. He is far more experienced with women than he lets on. wolf in a sheep's clothing lol. He might not necessarily be a bad person, but I still find him cunning. minju is still a good sport. im a little worried for her bcz there are high chances she won't end up with anyone, unless some crazy plot twist happens. The other thing that irks me is the episode duration. like im not interested in knowing every little emotion that they are feeling for a whole ten minutes. we'll do just fine if it's cut down to one or two minutes. it's way too draggy for it's own good, bcz believe me half the time, nothing interesting is happening on the screen.

Not really. I was more impressed by the initial eps. So, naturally I expected the same for the next eps but to my disappointment they weren't worthwhile. Nothing wrong with a tropey office romance, just not what I'm looking for.
Maybe Iām the odd one out here. I liked the first two episodes more bcz they felt refreshing for an office romance. The world building was especially unique, but then the quality seems to drop significantly in the last two episodes. or maybe itās just the novelty of a new show wearing off. That might be on me, i admit. But regardless, the last two episodes feel formulaic to me. Weāre being fed the same 'one plotline per episode' trope for the 1894th time. The comedy is barely there, and the romance follows the 'role reversal, but weāll keep the same gendered tropes' pattern. Weāre getting the same romantic cues over and over again. itās just so predictable.
I get why some of you are finding dong man annoying. I would too if i wasnāt relating so hard with him. From my perspective, the whole point of a great slice of life show is to make you feel things, even annoyance counts lol. I believe the writer wants you to live the story, experience it. yeah sounds cheesy, but cheesiness and slice of life go hand in hand. I donāt feel pity for these characters tbh, what i feel is sympathy. You encounter these types of people quite a lot irl, but that doesnāt evoke the same feeling as actually living it through a piece of art.
The feeling of emptiness is so suffocating that people often resort to coping mechanisms. The constant talking, which is often reckless, isnāt random but a way to cope with that emptiness. yes it is a tad annoying, but still real. Idk how many of you can relate to the deafening silence when you are alone, that you canāt do anything but talk, even if what youāre saying is unreasonable and impolite by societyās standards. But i think these characters are past that politeness. They donāt care, or they care too much that they donāt.
Dong man is depicted so multifaceted that iām sure weāll see more sides of him, and not just the insufferable side, in the coming eps. We need more raw characters, not perfect fictional idols who refuse to make mistakes without twenty things to justify why they did it. While iām fine with either, i feel a stronger connection with flawed characters, as do many of you. The writer here wants you to feel a sense of consolation, which, while not unheard of in cinema, is still a novel experience. itās kind of funny bcz i once said something almost like this (well not exactly). i just said a certain drama didnāt deserve to be rated that highā¦which, apparently, managed to offend half the folks here lol. pitchforks hurt. for your particular comment, i think mdl ratings are more of a reflection of crowd mood than anything objective. a drama that is trending would naturally attract more casual viewers, including people outside the target audience. those of us who love this genre tend to rate it more neutrally, whereas someone who isnāt a fan of the genre or simply isnāt used to it is more likely to give it a low rating. the ratings become more skewed as a result. the comments are mostly spared bcz the people who love the show are more likely to take the time to explain why they like it, which is why you often see more positive responses in the comments than in the ratings. but the same can be true for a drama that is highly hated, where people come up with new ways to hate in the comments. it just goes to show how unreliable these ratings can be, especially for a trending drama. as someone wise once said "never trust mdl ratings."
I was lowkey expecting something like night has come but was pleasantly surprised that this drama outclassed it. I'm not a fan of supernatural genre but honestly it's far more believable than whatever they had done in the last episode of night has come. Night has come bit far more than it could chew and as a result we ended with a messy ending. Here, I think it was a well resolved plot. We got all the answers that matter. It had its dips, but overall a solid drama i must say.
Sometimes it surprises me when I see parents abandoning their own children, but then I remember how real it is for some people. People can, in fact, abandon their own child over something as seemingly petty as their career or the lack of one.

It feels so stale for a hyped drama. I dropped it, saw the rating, came back to give it another chanceā¦ and yeah, disappointed again.
The fl is still obnoxious as hell. Girl Iām sorry but youāre not edgy š youāre acting like a toddler half the time. You canāt even have a proper conversation unless it somehow helps your romance with the ml.
And speaking of the mlā¦ can he please take a break from the blank stare to save his life? No one is going to think you canāt act if you show SOME expression.
Like the acting feels weirdly dry, which I didnāt expect. But honestly thatās not even the main issue because the clichĆ©s are doing all the heavy lifting, and not in a good way. Maybeā¦ just maybeā¦ this drama couldāve used better writing.
The only thing i found interesting was the sfl's character and that underlying desire to have what you lack, that gap the fl is trying to fill with this whole ānobilityā thing. But even that wasnāt explored well enough to save it.
