I knew gyeong se and dong man had some serious history together. Because the way they react to each other's shenanigans is way too much. I love it even more now!

The rating is actually so surprising because there is NO way in hell this deserves an 8.5 😭 Like sure, people can like it, but 8.5?? Bffr.
It feels so stale for a hyped drama. I dropped it, saw the rating, came back to give it another chance… and yeah, disappointed again.
The fl is still obnoxious as hell. Girl I’m sorry but you’re not edgy 😭 you’re acting like a toddler half the time. You can’t even have a proper conversation unless it somehow helps your romance with the ml.
And speaking of the ml… can he please take a break from the blank stare to save his life? No one is going to think you can’t act if you show SOME expression.
Like the acting feels weirdly dry, which I didn’t expect. But honestly that’s not even the main issue because the clichés are doing all the heavy lifting, and not in a good way. Maybe… just maybe… this drama could’ve used better writing.
The only thing i found interesting was the sfl's character and that underlying desire to have what you lack, that gap the fl is trying to fill with this whole “nobility” thing. But even that wasn’t explored well enough to save it.
Alas not even iu could make me continue, and that’s saying something. Even she can pick a mid script sometimes ig.
Edit: damn this really got y’all pressed huh 😭 it’s not that deep. Idk if you guys are just generous with ratings or biased as hell, but either way this is just my opinion. I’m not stopping anyone from loving the show, I just don’t think it deserves that high of a rating. And yeah ill stand by that. You’re entitled to hype it up, I’m entitled to criticize it. Also i actually like these actors, so this isn’t coming from hate. But y’all seriously need to learn to take criticism with a pinch of salt.
You keep your love for the show, I’ll keep my criticism. Fair deal.

this was genuinely good. the writing was compelling enough. the acting was good. the pacing was just right. and it was funny at times. i don't have any qualms as such but i didn't expect the focus would be so heavily on the supernatural aspect which i think is fair enough for a horror drama. idt it needs a second season but im not complaining.
side note- i am so glad the "brother in law"(idk his name lol) got a cool role to play in this after being the most aggravating antagonist in squid game.

I'm just disappointed producers are still picking these amateurish scripts in the big 2026. Like can we move on to something that's more interesting? Nothing big really. And the fact that it's lackluster in almost everything else too is funny to me.

As excited as I am about this one (and shows of this genre), usually dramas like this have unsatisfactory ending,…
This is actually so real and has happened to me so many times it pisses me off. But i still go with excitement when there's anything of this genre. Maybe it's just easier to have a new idea than it is to implement the said idea.

The scene with her therapist, when she was asked what feelings reflects in her emotions watch, and she said nothing.…
right but that’s mostly a giveaway of how that trope usually starts. as far as i have seen, stress is often used as a storytelling shorthand for terminal illness, and she’s showing symptoms too. Add to that how self destructive her feelings are, as she said. Not that I’m sure she’ll be diagnosed or anything, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it actually happens. Besides I want to be wrong too.

I lowkey think there's going to be a terminal illness trope at the end. We are seeing the signs and i won't be surprised if eun-a ends up with a terminal illness by the end. It'll make for a tragic story that I'm thinking they are going for given all the talks about world ending. I think it'll fit the subtext of the story pretty well, that the protagonists are not powerful afterall.

This show is something I would recommend to someone going through tough times. Not only does it uplift you, it acknowledges your emotions. I am in awe at how beautiful it was. We are only two episodes in but this has me contemplating about my life. Honestly, i didn't even look into any technical details, not that I'm an expert at that, but i didn't need to. The emotions were so raw. The characters are so fleshed out that it feels invasive to watch them. This might be one of my favourite protagonist ever. He is quite insufferable but still so charming. I don't think this drama intends to evoke pity for these characters, instead it wants you to see how real these people are. And i respect that.
To sum it all up, i am beyond impressed and relieved that I'm no longer in a drama slump after this.

But in most of the k dating shows outspoken and extrovert female contestants are least liked
I think it's more so the preferred trait for a woman there in dating. But here both men and women are awkward. You don't need to be an extrovert to be able to hold a conversation with strangers. And ironically the most quirky and extroverted of them is most liked. So I think it's both looks and communication skills that are important.

I think min ju is my favourite so far. She is so adorable, so pretty aaand she is funny. Comeon. Among men, Yeol might be the most likable of them all. Like what a bunch of clueless men. I've never seen a dating show where they are so focused on a woman that they forget everything that happens around them. I found it pretty rude and ignorant tbh. Girls on the other hand, have different personalities and honestly, all of them are likable. I just hope everyone grows on each other. Right now it feels really stuffy to watch them interact except that kitchen couple(forgot the name haha).
I must add the amount of awkward silence is a little frustrating to me but I trust the slow burn.
