FINALLY the episodes of reckoning I was most looking for. I hate that we're getting 1 episode for day. can't wait for the confrontation. hope FL makes ML hurt for quite a bit of time. he deserves it.
But last episode made me soften a bit towards him. He seems to be someone resolute awhen he loves someone. and I love that quality in my MLs lmao

I disagree. from what I see (in ep 17 especially) he is literally planting false memories on someone who is completely and utterly vulnerable and dependant on him.
I agree with you on the start that his actions may have been be justified for the "greater good" at least from hus point of view but now continuing the charade just spells moral corruption.
He is a coward at best, Despicable at worst.
and what relationship? the one where she think she is legally married and allowed him liberties that could absolutely ruin her in that time period regardless of whether he took advantage of her sexually or not.

I truly don't believe what he feels for her love. from how he feels so at ease manipulating her but still wants her with him I feel ot's closer to a obsession.
He doesn't realize how by telling more and more lies everyday he is making coming clean every harder on himself .

Please he had many opportunities before the war started but he is too much of a coward and/or doesn't care about the hurt this whole charade is gonna cause the FL.
and btw just last episode he was gonna gonna confess even during the war but he was conveniently interrupted by his sidekick. So yeah war is not excuse.

Nah to me, the only angst I got from that scene is the FL's realization that she had been completely used and manipulated. He is willingly planting false memories and hurting her so I cannot sympathize with him one bit.

I am not getting the feeling that the drama is romanticizing this yet in the sense that the reaction from the FL was of someone deeply betrayed and devastated. and they gave her the space to feel that hurt. I think FL is gonna get back at him and he deserves anything coming his way tbh. if executed right, it's gonna be great tv.

ML is truly despicable. that scene of both of them on the bed with him effortlessly weaving tales of their fake life together was just too cruel. there is no reason for him to keep the truth from her anymore apart from from cowardice or a creepy version of "love" . he is literally plantng false memories in her head, messing her up, someone he considers "innocent". All that with a creepy ass smile.
but tbh, him being so hateful elevates this story. for once we ain't getting a vanilla ML. as long as they don't pinkwash him later on and justify his actions giving him a tragic back story or whatever, he has the potential of being one of the most interesting and unique MLs in cdramas.
I am ready for a serious amount of groveling lmao.

FL starting to remember some stuff. she used to be so freaking cool ngl. As a matter of fact I am in awe at how she is STILL as cool despite her losing her memory. coming up with the horses strategy , leading the whole women village, finding out about the paid security in her fake husband's employ.
I love how her western friend told her to be cautious of her deceitful husband despite his trash warning.

omg I was wracking my brains because I could swear I heard a VERY similar song before. but couldn't place it.

yeah I can't wait for the aftermath. and I hope they make it good and that he doesn't get forgiven easily.

The actress playing FL is just so beautiful and graceful. seriously I do not believe ML took all that time to fall for her or that not half the village is in love with her already 🤣.

So when is ML gonna stop being a coward and tell the truth. I can't wait for her to make him suffer. (hopefully for a long time).

not ML making plans for FL's life, looking for potential husbands before telling her the truth and without feeling the need to get her opinion on the matter.
Seriously one of the worst traits in romantic MLs in cdrama. I am not bothered by him yet because I still like the story and LOOOOVE the FL.
I just hope FL makes him grovel for a loooong time. she deserves way better.

I don't know why I hesitated a lot hefore watching this but so far I am at episode 4 and quite enjoying it.
FL is truly a gem. despite losing her memory she hasn't regressed to her 5 year old self and actually kept her wits and reasoning. I love her already.
ML hasn't impressed me quite yet. we'll see...

I haven't heard of Love and destiny. how is the FL in that?
TTOTM was all over the place for me. Inconsistant characters and story throughout . I fastforwarded through that whole second arc and despised the last arc. LYF S2 made a deliberate choice to tone down ML's character . One decision in particular that made the novel great and the show a complete joke.

was tempted to watch this cuz I find costume ZLH super hot lmao. But then I remembered I am swearing off xianxa and xuanhuan after the disappoinment that was TTOTM and LYF s2.
Hopefully he makes another historical like MJTY or SOKP sooon!
