If you ever watch "Go Princess, Go! (2015)" , they have pretty much the same plot. Although there were some differences in the storyline, it somewhat still feels the same. But, I must say, I personally prefer Mr. Queen. I liked the execution and the actors were great with their roles. It gives thrill and excitement one episode after another. I remember watching it and waiting for the next episode for a week feels like a decade (LOL) and what makes it worse, the one with the English subs wont be released until the next day the original was aired. This drama does not disappoint.

Nice

Its the brothers from Lovely Swords Girl! Although they were not all biologically brothers here the vibe still is the same. The characters personalities were somewhat the same with their characters in Lovely Swords Girl (well it makes sense since the writer/director is the same). Because of that, I actually thought that the leading lady would end up with the "older brother " from Lovely swords girl (the poster that i saw was different from what they used here and i didn't watch the trailer). Honestly, I only watch this because of Li Jia Hao. I though he was going to give a good fight for the Leading Lady, but it turns out he was just a MALE-FRIEND and it was conveyed immediately in the series (i don't think this is a spoiler cuz you ought to know once you watch a few episodes). I WAS ROOTING FOR HIM TO BE THE ONE ENDING UP WITH THE LEADING LADY, cuz of the things he have done and all, i also thought he'll fall in-love with her as well but.... oh well. All of them have their own pairs in the end so its a good ending.

Short and cute

The concept and the plot is light and nice. Characters were played really well by the actors and actresses . Its refreshing and new for me and i like it. Basically its your usual high school romance kind of thing but on a different execution and approach as theres not much of dialogues as its more of self narration. So dont expect to much. It also focuses on the characters thoughts-- how they really feel and what they're thinking. Its like a mini series in a mini series as every episode is like 7-8mins only. The melody of the sound track was catchy as well. Its nice to watch.

May not be the review you're looking for

This review may just be long overdue. I have finished watching this last year (2020) just thought that leaving this review won't hurt anyone. So here it goes...

If you're looking for something sweet, romantic and you're into "TSUNDERE'' type of MC then this one is for you. The story revolves around this newly married couple that didn't marry for love but found it eventually. It's a "love after marriage" kind of story with Office Romance and misunderstandings. I gave this drama a 8/10 rating as the story line was typical but still good to watch. Although you might already know what's going to happen next, It still has that element of excitement and cuteness.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
We'll, I may be biased since I like Ryusei ( who wouldn't? right?) but I still think that this is a really great drama. The storyline was light, the actors we're great and they played their roles really well. I guess that must've been the reason why I liked it.
It also gives a realistic vibe. Although this genre is somewhat common to J-Dramas, the execution was good. If you ever find yourself, wanting to watch something but don't know what to watch, I recommend this to you.

I think 6 episodes isn't enough for the story line and how the pacing is for the first 3 episodes. It seems that this should have been 12-15 episodes and they tried fitting the last 10 episodes into 2. Honestly, when I watched the first episode, I was like "hmm... exciting." and then episode 2 and 3 came, it was intense, the conflict was already there but it was still exciting. But then episode 4 came, it somewhat okay then episode 5 and 6...... the transition from falling on a staircase and being hospitalized, the antagonist and MC reminiscing how they became close friends, having your current boyfriend give you up because he thinks you will be happy with his friend (the MC), meeting up with the male MC and reminisce how you guys meet was too FAST. The ending was nice and good but yet again not well executed as it was focused solely on 2 main characters although I believed the supporting characters deserved a spot in the ending because they made a huge contribution in the story. Additionally, the actors and actresses were great with their roles. They played their roles really well and I can't think of anyone who could have done it better. Still a good drama to watch.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This movie was not on my "To Watch list". I was hesitant to watch it (I don't really know why) but I found myself reading the comments and spoilers about it. The ending was SAD. I don't know what came to me, I'm not a fan of sad endings but this movie intrigues me . Since this is a sad movie, I tried to prepare myself by reading the reviews that contain spoilers as much as possible. So, I thought that it was enough since I'm fully aware how it's going to end but then "IT" happened and I was still SHOCKED and I CRIED. And this movie made me feel SO SO SO SO SO SO SAD, but it WAS WORTH IT.

The tears, worth it.
The time, worth it.
It's so worth it for me that I even made myself logged in to this website (I even had to reset my password, because I forgot) and leave a review.

historical-feel-good-rom-com with enough drama

It's been weeks since I finished watching this drama and I must say that I can still remember how everything happened. This is a thumbs up for me, highly recommended. If you like historical-feel-good-rom-com with enough drama, then this is a good one to watch. I sincerely like how the male lead's character, his personality and temperament was not usual to other Chinese Dramas I've watched before. The story line was great, the plot and twist was well executed. Each character's story is connected to each other and was well explained. Although the ending was a bit disappointing, it's still a good drama to watch. All in all this was worth the time and effort to wait for the next episode every week.

P.S
I cried on the last episode and it's not because of the leads.

IT'S OKAY

I have just finished watching this drama just for the sake of finishing it. At first I was drawn with how the trailer was made, although the story line was a cliche it seems that they'll be doing some twist. They did not. This drama could have been made better. It was slowed-phased at some point but the story was kinda "rushed". It's not that bad but like I've said, it's good enough just to finish watching it, hoping that the ending will be good but rather disappointing. The execution of the story was confusing, I mean, I get what the director or writer is trying to do but they fail to do it. but if ever that they'll be remaking this, I'll definitely watch it. This drama has a lot of potential.
