Title Love to Hate You Spoiler
So just putting it out there: there are two significant very public GRAND GESTURES, in the final 2 episodes.
These are my absolute LEAST favourite romance trope (because by their nature they are co-ercive), so I feel giving a warning should be mandatory 😄
They don't break the show for me but it's disappointing that the 2nd one even happened. It was completely unnecessary.

Okay I've watched the first two episodes. I'm not really sure what I'm watching (I think the Netflix translation…
I agree with Lakateya, it gets better! Their up-front prejudices get somewhat redeemed. (I did have to play a thought game with myself and replace their use of woman/women with person/people, a lot - but that's normal for me with Kdramas, and TV romance stereotypes in general...) It ends pretty satisfyingly all around.

I’d prefer the story in Our Blues. They pictured their real struggle there.
👍I haven't watched it yet but have read good reports

Idk about that. You may have a different experience, but I'm on the autism spectrum as is the rest of my family…
Ahh your family must be MUCH nicer than mine! My brother and I treated each other probably much worse than this. And my neurotypical son often misses the cues that my ASD son is putting out. Yes I agree the depiction could be considered exagerrated but I feel it's in the right direction. To be blunt, the reality is SK is generally A LONG WAY from employing actual neurodiverse actors, so it will be a while before we're anywhere near comfortable.

Sorry if this has been said before, somewhere in the previous 2000 (!!) comments. But IMO this is THE BEST depiction of neurodiversity, I have seen in a KDrama to date. Props to Oh Eui Shik for his portrayal, and also to writer and director for creating a typical and average neurodiverse family. It's not being used as a plot device like some other very famous KDramas (WYW and IONTBO). It gives me hope for the future of KDrama, where perhaps more diversity in general is possible.
This show is smashing a lot of stereotypes/tropes, in a very natural and subtle way...it keeps me coming back each week.

I like the one where ML and FL were talking about Fengyi's life. FL was lamenting that Fengyi has such a hard…
This is mine too! A lovely example of the many natural, "common sense" moments in this drama

The ranking is based on MDL likes. The reason why Liu Yifei isn't famous on MDL is she hasn't worked in dramas…
I'm predicting a meteoric rise on MDL, after "Meet Yourself" 😁

There have been some great K and C dramas airing during this Dec-January period but this one is unequivocally…
I want to gush about this one too! It's just so lovely!

Title Meet Yourself Spoiler
Are they together yet , which episode they start dating?
There is a gorgeous scene in ep 22 where they have a "moment"...camping, milky way in the background...utterly charming. The slow build of their relationship is IMO one of the best I've seen. It makes waiting for them to start dating, very easy!

I mean, he's 47. So he's not suited for romcoms, that much...
I personally think LSK is still suited. But I agree it's definitely not likely he'll be cast in one in SK, when there's a new set of 20-something idols debuting as actors every year.

Title Payback: Money and Power Spoiler
its hard to root for the ML, when he earned his money by hitting people, being poor doesnt justify this =/
I'm struggling too. The casual violence in Kdramas is already disturbing (for me) but I find this level of realistic violence, overwhelming. It suggests the 'Payback' outcomes are going to be extreme. I'm seriously considering waiting 'til it's aired and spoilered.
It's a huge dilemma 😄 because LSK is my go-to...
