Currently watching, and idk, but it's surprisingly boring. I expected a more exciting series, but they spend too much time on jumping back and forth in time and trying not to reveal something too early. The most well thought character seems to be that, well, pedophile. At least he makes you hate him, while you don't really care about all others. Also, the situation at the end of ep 3, when they don't have the needed blood type in the hospital? So unrealistic, as setting seems to be a huge city.
How's the romance and chemistry? Any love triangles? When do the leads become a real couple? Any break ups?
Well, for me if FL doesn't have any feelings or doesn't get involved with the SML against her will, then screen time matters. In this show SML is actually another person, either ML's friend who has his own love story or FL's friend who has has own love story, not the guy who falls for FL. That guy takes like 5% of the show's screen time, and half of those scenes are with the ML, not FL, so it's something so tiny for me, that it's not worth mentioning as "love triangle". Do you consider every random guy in the show, about whom ML gets jealous a part of a love triangle? I don't 🙂
How is the Wuxia element and fight scenes? Do we get some well choreographed awesome fight scenes or not?
It's more about cgi and huge variety of technics used by different characters, some operating with swords, some with powers of nature, some creating magic creatures, some using telepathy. It is not boring to watch and you never know what to expect from the next new character, and new characters appear... very often :D I am on episode 7 and not disappointed.
Finished and still find it very overrated. It was boring at times, romance as well, especially after they got together - creators still lack ideas how to make "after confession" period as exciting, as the pre- one. There were cute moments, but the longer I watched, the less of them I could remember. And they just ruined two plot lines which had the most thrilling or emotional potential - killer one and real mother comeback. Both lines were gone with a poof, without proper conclusion.
Don't understand all those bothered by FL's looks or age. The ML is not young too and his age is showing, although he is very handsome, of course. In his eyes she is obviously beautiful and he can hardly breath when seeing her, so get over it.
Idk, lately I feel like too many recent Korean dramas get overrated, so I expect much more than I get. I like the ML, he fits the character of an arrogant but charming teacher with some past traumas. As for FL, nothing special in drama-world there, typical hardworking female character sacrificing her personal life for her family, who gets into many awkward situations because she can't shut up or acts too hasty.
Chemistry? Was not there until about episode 8 when creators started using light and slowmo and ML started to stare at FL as if she was the most beautiful women on Earth (well, that was fun). Maybe the relationships are still gonna be nice, but I am really considering fast forwarding...
Fine drama, and idk if it's me, but I am so bored to watch it. ML is very funny though, it's the second drama where I see him, and he is good at comedy.
Maybe you can recommend more dramas like this then? With no annoying secondary characters and with good dialogues?…
Oh, I tried and really liked the school part. But somewhere in the middle second lead and FL's mother were getting on my nerves so much, that I just skipped to check the ending. I know both of them changed their minds eventually, but it took them too much time, it was unbearably annoying for me 🙂 Leads were ok though.
I don't get the high rating. There were nice moments, but overall it was quite boring. And between "she always assumes the worst about him" and "she says 'I love you'"... nothing special happened (apart from them having s*x quite a lot), so I don't know why she fell for him (well...). The drama didn't give me neither a good love-hate relationships, nor a decent bickering couple, while the title suggested something like that.
On episode 4 and it's quite boring so far, I expected more humor, and I also kinda expected leads to really have some huge difference in their views, but so far it's just a bunch of misunderstandings. Gonna continue though. Second lead is super hot, and FL's friend is beautiful, can't wait for them to have a romance ;)
Ah, the trailer suggests too much drama for me. But I liked FL in the evil mode, and it would be nice to see Jeremi Tsui and Deng Wei. Ah, and Wang Zhuo Cheng looks fantastic here! Maybe I'll wait until it finishes airing to check out the comments :)
And finally a drama getting 10 from me. I feel like I was waiting for it all this time since I started MDL list :D Perfection from start to finish, from children to grannies. It really makes you feel better not just during some scenes, but during all 40 episodes. It might also help you in certain situations in life. Big thanks to scriptwriters, all the cast and the director, this is really something special.

And it's not that bad. Somehow I expected more unnecessary drama. BY just needs some anger management, or a dirty book about how to balance between heart attack (when the girl is nice to him) and butt hurt (when the girl is nice to someone else).
I really liked the break up :D scene between ML and FL, ah, so much passion! :) Currently their situation is kinda unresolvable even if BY told everything to the poor girl...
All her "love" stories are actually stories of her helping different people, who take this help a bit too romantic…
I think when she will agree to marry Tang Huan, she will already know he is up to something... but we'll see. That first Tang guy might have used love portion on her, it felt a bit weird how they cut all their story out, maybe something is still to be revealed there. Yeah, I agree she liked Cang Nan a bit and he liked her, but it just didn't go any further because of many reasons. And it felt like she never liked Cang Qi romantically at all, just cared about him as about a very pitiful person.
