I am watching but skipping a bit, some scenes are just too fake, including the fact that girls who are considered ugly look better than some "beauties" even with their skin issues :D, but some scenes are funny, and I can't wait for the love triangle to unfold :D The girl is a bit dump though.
After watching some more xianxias, I have to say, it's so good that FL doesn't kill ML for greater good or vice versa here :D Somehow many authors find it romantic and beautiful. Here everyone just... die when they want to die :D
Ah, finished 😠This masterpiece proves a drama can be good even without much drama 😄 and still be emotionally engaging. Very few characters died. But the number of times I felt emotional? Countless. Another thing which rarely happens in cn big dramas - the plot is not driven by romantic feelings. We were given the full variety of relationships and motivations. Loved so many secondary characters! Loved how they could come back in the most epic way and were given their moment to shine, from babyboy Wushuang to the umbrella guy from Dark River.
Never expected to love Lei Wujie so much 😄 Saw him on photos and assumed he is gonna be funny and dump, and... well YES 😄, but also he is super charming, energetic and devoted. Always expected to love Wuxin 😄 and he is indeed fantastic, absolutely hypnotizing screen presence. I liked Xiao Se as character, and Li Hongyi is super handsome, but I again didn't become his fan, for me he is like that sword of Lone Sword Deity - making everything melancholic 😄 So it's good the drama has lots of other dynamic personalities and good pacing with many action scenes.
Big bravo to the production team for one of the most beautiful and inspiring dramas I've ever seen. Big thanks to the writer for a wonderful story.
The only disappointing thing for now (I am on episode 31) is the villain Prince Chi, and it's not even a spoiler, cause they never tried to hide it. He is just so boring, there is no complicated motivation or any likable feature about him, and the evil laughter?.. I thought Chinese drama industry gave up on it after so many memes, but nope 😄 I hope they have another villain hiding in the shadow, cause if it's just gonna be Prince Chi till the end... meh.
Yes, Xiao Se and Incense Eunuch forming the alliance! The guy is too handsome to be eunuch 😄 Hope to see him fighting again. I also wonder if there is any man in this series with whom Xiao Se doesn't have chemistry 😄
I only watched the first episode and I find its kinda weird when I read that theres no romance at all in this…
Actually both leads have love interest, but nearly 0 romantic scenes (I am on episode 27). Other characters joke about those love interests and tease the leads, as if they saw something we didn't, lol. But some occasional romances between secondary characters do happen, sometimes as flashbacks, and there you can see creators CAN do emotional and engaging romance, so it's a bit weird, that for main leads they didn't even tried. The bromance is good indeed.
I think it wasn't crazy enough, at least in romance, there were cool moments, and fights between the main couple were entertaining, but unfortunately most of the time FL spent in submissive, scared, ready-to-cry mode, and her character development was chaotic, like in one scene she is brave and sarcastic, and then she is suddenly unable to say a word. But... the amount of people who wanted to harm ML was really impressive 😄 And writers connected most of the dots well. ML's breakdown and character development was good. And I liked how it played out with Oh Se Gi and Park Yang Tae - friends to enemies to friends - ah, my favorite trope. And also Baek Soo Young - in many dramas they use this trope with ML or FL breaking up with each other in order to save each other, and here it actually destroyed love, and I support this turn of events. Overall very good, the script was inventive and avoided many cliches, so I am gonna rate it higher than some other more well-known and praised dramas, which I watched lately and was much less satisfied.
Having troubles with finding any truly likable character here, apart maybe from sister Oh, who is amazing. Teacher…
Ok, what I liked: energetic and uplifting vibes of medical scenes and some moments of characters' friendship and unity. Romance was fine. What I didn't like: chaotic character development, as if different people wrote different episodes. Many disappointing moments with ML and FL, when I wish they said or did something else. This mostly happened because teacher Kim had to shine, like, all the time. Don't think I am gonna watch season 2, although I like main actors there.

Finished, but it took me much longer than expected. The storytelling was chaotic, some scenes were cut in such a way that it was not clear if the scene finished or if there will be an additional flashback about it some time later. Some characters behaved weird even after their part of truth was revealed, so it created unnecessary bad feeling about them. Unnecessary because the identity of the killer was VERY disappointing after all the build-up. Trial scenes were mostly the strong side, but some weird things happened there, like lawyer hinting that he has additional evidence during final speech (is this really allowed in S.Korea??), random people from the audience having conversations with the judge etc... The highlights for me were: second trial and how Ye Seul finally came to her senses, professor Kim and her brilliant trap for the main villain, the twist with Kang Dan. Yang Jong Hoon... was a bit too cool :D Ah, music was great!
Well, O negative is more rare than 2 blood types and less rare than 5 blood types. Also, 7% of a several million people city (I actually met 13%) = hundreds thousands of people, who got the sms about blood needed. And only rap*ist came to help, after special request, yes :D
It would be realistic if it would be a matter of seconds - like, they needed blood REALLY fast. But it seemed to take hours if not 1-2 days to find blood, and in the whole huge city there was only one person who had this type? Not realistic at all.
Here everyone just... die when they want to die :D

I hope my second favourite guy out of secondary characters - blind prince Bai - doesn't have a tragic ending 😩
