Hah. I went to check these 2 out. I have watched them. They were both good.

Thanks. I found a compilation clips from ep 31-38 of the main couple. I was totally repulsed with their interactions. I remember now watching the last 2 episodes because people praised it. Its not my cup of tea. I am skipping this drama. I also disliked ZLH playing this type of character. I might have watched Bai Lu too many times although I have them on repeat because I rewatch 2 of their dramas- not together- because it was a nicer written romance.

Goodness. The comments and reviews are scary. Do I watch this or not?

I am finishing off Pursuit of Jade and have no historical drama lined up.

I skipped this drama initially because I don't like reincarnation dramas or harem dramas.

So do I start this or not? I just want a good storyline. I don't need dark intense intrigue. I am ok with slow burn romances but the issue is that I prefer WXY as the male lead. However the 3 male leads here happens to be amongst my top 10 Chinese actors I would watch. BJT is my number 1 because he always picks interesting dramas.

I have no time to marathon 40 episodes. Work and all. I just want to watch 2-3 episodes daily.

I am currently watching The practical guide to love, In your radiant season- fast forwarding and about to start The phantom lawyer. I really have no historical dramas lined up after Pursuit of Jade.

Oh bugger. I will stop watching previews. I only started from ep 27. I enjoyed this drama a lot more when I knew nothing.

I mean the other dramas. Its always full of crew and that's a given. Its their job. I am sure they don't fuss over it. In my job there are times when people have to strip or be tested/ and fail. I just do my job as an assistant and get through the day. There are so many things to consider that all I am focused on is getting my job done.

YZ is very smooth. He sounds so sincere. I actually can't recall the last time a male lead just laid out his heart so sincerely.

We have seen impassioned declarations, OTT confessions, shy or incomplete confessions, beating round the bush till the girl gets confused.

However I literally cannot recall the last time I watched a quiet, isolated and sincere explanation.

Its been the trend that confessions are said in public and there are like 50 or more people watching them kiss.

I am a bit impressed how effective his technique has been.

I just wanted the plot to move along so all I could think of were his poor Generals. She has them twisted into knots maintaining the secret. I would have blown a coronary knowing the big leader was drugged before the battle.

My reaction? Geez... that is not going to go down well. Then I laughed at the poor actress who had to piggyback him yet again.

No I am not. There was all this talk about being able to fight with a long staff then nothing after that initial fight.

I was wondering when we were going to stop doing the close contact hand to hand combat.

Besides his memory of her fighter is of him teaching him to fight as well.

Lol. Yes I watched all of that. The male lead in The Road Home was very manly.

I am going back to a book until Sunday where I'd marathon 7 episodes. Episode 26-32.

I like this actress by the way but her make up is really thick here. I don't know why considering she must have been only 27 years old and he was 19 when this was filmed. It makes her looks so much older.

Did you see the make up on the Sui guy? So little.

I am not usually a ZLH fan but I happen to like the drama because the ML is so soothing and the OSTs so good. That's the same reason why I rewatch " Love me, love my voice. "

That wasn't really helpful. Ep 27-29 preview popped up for me. I haven’t watched any previews for this drama yet.

I am going to have to skip ep 26-28 Wed to Fri. Its too much. I cannot be that patient. Then to only have ep 29-32 this weekend.

The airing schedule kinda sucks. When do you guys think they will release the express package? I will come to watch it then.

Isn't he a decade younger? I cannot ship a 19 year old actor with an adult. That chemistry is not there for me.
