I'm dropping this after 4 episodes, it's just not for me. I enjoyed Yumi's Cells 1, pushed through Yumi's Cells…
The start was boring and difficult for me.
I laughed at episode 5. Episode 5 is a gem.
I enjoyed S1 and was meh with S2. I only started S3 because even I was curious about Soon Rok. I think he was boring as all shit in ep 1-3 and couldn't work out how it will all work.
Episode 5 is well written. This is proper slow burn. I think I might be more than a little in love with his cells. More than with the other 2 MLs. His poor adorable cells. They make me laugh.
Soon Rok's love cell, and being a surgeon is incredibly amusing... It truly conveys how deep his heart is capable…
I wasn't expecting a ruthless love cells so him actually being a surgeon made me laugh so much. Its so on point and literal with Soon Rok. That is black. Or white. With no in between. So a surgical excision of love was too apt and funny.
I love the Kim Ju Ho scene post movie. That was what a woman should do.
However Soon Rok's cells were absolutely adorable. The frustrating start was just that. The progression here has been wonderful. Yu Mi's pain and his continual rejections is just beautiful writing.
I haven’t felt this sort of ' pain ' over a couple for such a long time. This is proper mildang and his little snail just slowly plodding towards nowhere to somewhere just made me giggle.
Well when things comes to fruition we can't say Yu Mi didn’t have a hard time with Soon Rok.
Who ever knew that Soon Rok would be written like that? I am now thoroughly amused by this whole romance progression and can't wait for episode 6.
I really like the cells in this 3 round of romance. The poor cells. I feel for botn of their cells. They really suffered and I love the ending scene. I laughed so much.
How long do I have to wait for episode 5 again? I thought it started slow but I've caught the tension and am now dying for PD Shin's story on why he is a loner and what would make him change from his private life.
I am staying near Gwangjang market and because the kids don't go out I am b*** dy getting them Subway. Haha! Why? Because I watched ep 3 earlier and I am darn curious why people even eat Subway when I have gukbap near me, yukhoe, naengmyun, BHC chicken, Gimgane gimbap, Korean BBQ restaurants.
Subway indeed. Fyi I normally won't eat Subway back home and definitely never get it over here.
I am on tetherhook after ep 3 so am actually going to watch MBC on my tv at 2150hrs.
The relationship is progressing faster than I'd thought and I want to see that dangerous scene tonight. I cannot wait for the live streaming sites to show it.
Thanks for the spoilers. I haven’t started catching yet but wanted to know when the romance started.
I read the spoilers. Watched ep 24 and I chuckled. Will start this once it ends tomorrow.
It's slow burn alright. It left me time to wonder about Miles Wei. He has such a soothing voice. He always does multiple kisses in his drama. I was wondering why he stands out for me because there are loads of more macho looking actors around.
I think because I started at ep 24 I had time to notice why he is distinctive. He has broad shoulders. You may think it a minor point but I have seen good looking actors but they have or may not have the height but they don't have the physique when close up scenes are done. They are so narrow or petite that the skinship scenes lack the oomph.
Miles Wei has the whole package. He has the height. Broad shoulders. Not skinny bum- so no flat sideview, great skin, big eyes, double eyelids, not Botox lips- thinking of the actresses, can act, good diction obviously since he is not dubbed, gentle tone, expressive eyes.
He also makes good drama choices so I can rewatch his dramas.
His female leads have been hit and miss for me. Does he get A list actresses? I don’t think so right because 2/3 of his leads are ok but some are dodgey immature acting.
I said what I felt. If you don't feel this way fine but no need to get huffy since I came in with fresh eyes.
I like the other couple. I think I saw the actress multiple times since I rewatch Love me, love my voice multiple times.
This is a proper 40 episode drama and a 11 year age gap.
So is the novel any good? For me to start watching it? I don’t care how talented the female lead is. She is still 18 years old and I presume the drama was filmed last year which made her under aged
Man I ended up marathoning it yesterday and am now on ep 14.
The story is not new but the directing, cinematography, acting makes it stand out.
The male lead is only 1 year older than the FL. He actually makes the 20 years age gap romance plotline plausible. Both their voices; actually the whole cast have soothing voices.
I still don’t have any idea how rich he is but just how big is the law firm? It looks very small although the office is very big.
I am a bit bemused by Wang You Jun. I like him that much in a newer drama where he is the 2nd couple. He is so skinny scrawny 4 years ago.
Good drama. I just abandoned 3 currently airing drama plus Pursuit for Jade and the 2 new Cdramas for the drama.
The rating should really be higher. The acting, directing and writing quality is really much higher than some of the duds I have been watching the last 6 months.
Lets just say he a very red flag here.ETA. It seems you have decideded not to watch it
Yeah sorry. I watched ep 31-38's couple momments. Its enough to know what kind of plolitics this show has and the ML actually turned me off his character. I also need a Bai Lu break. Am watching or rewatching Miles Wei now. I am not watching any historical drama at present.
Did this have a happy ending for the main couple? Was it satisfying or lackluster?
I watched the leaked episodes- awful machine subs; luckily I understand Mandarin- yes there is a HE. I would say it has been one of the better HE I've seen in the last couple of years.
Just watch it. I gave his drama a high rating and I am usually a grumpy old fart with my ratings. Its because the plot kept going. I didn't say it wasn't ridiculous in parts but the writers had some sense and actually wrote a story.

Man the age gap is massive especially if she was 23 in 2023.
However he is extremely personable and attractive. A boss who actually looks like a boss rather than a kid cosplaying.
Should I start or wait a bit. I read the bio for the female lead and haven't seen her or remember her in any drama.
How is the writing?
This drama entertained me a lot. All of it. The secondary characters alone in this drama made me rate it higher than normal. Its a complete package.
Just watch it. I gave his drama a high rating and I am usually a grumpy old fart with my ratings. Its because the plot kept going. I didn't say it wasn't ridiculous in parts but the writers had some sense and actually wrote a story.
