Ah is that why the ep 23 subs on kissh were not crap like ep 24?

This is not me wading into the Qiuzi debacle. This is me talking about real life BFF cheating with their girl's or guy's BFF or brother. The evidence is that the BFFs have things in common they like about each other or compatible personality traits so chances are that they might like the same sort of lovers. That's also why their lovers could be attracted to both BFF- and that's how affairs start.

Now the Chinese writers probably don't research that much so to them its another plot point.

However this comes to my mind when I see such plots. So it makes it sleazy to me. However I acknowledge personalities- wise those 2 are on the same wavelength and lifestyle provided that's what she wants and not her accomodating his needs.

So this analysis is beyond this drama. In this drama her underhanded or unethical behaviour as a bestie has put me off the romance. I am not ANGRY enough to spew profanities in CAPITAL LETTERS like someone here. I just don't care and just go meh at their scenes.

Can someone post in spoilers what XYC's secret is please? I am on ep 18 now from ep 9 but have already watched ep 18-22.

I don't actually care so much about the Su guy. I think he's young, inexperienced and naive. The only thing good is that he is a graduate, hard working and the typical nice guy.

XYC is more my type. The Han Ting and Li Xing romance is pretty tepid at present. I like LLJ's personality.

I am just going to just watch ep 23- 31 this Monday and Fri but am doing other things. I am not particularly addicted to this drama so whatever secret he holds won't devastate me. He's a good friend to
Han Ting and so as long as that friendship remains I am satisfied.

Whether Li Li remains single or not in ep 40 is not important to me. She is a resilient character. If her guys turns out to be a douchebag she can take care of herself. I actually would rather she remains single then get saddled with Su who should be concentrating on his career anyway since he is new to the workforce. And stop messing around with a talented marketing director. He needs looking after and some women find it hot to have the younger man- older woman romance but I don't care either way as long as it makes sense. Being a nice guy is not a good enough reason why he is compatible with Li Li. She is way more emotionally mature than him anyway.

The only woman that would match him would be another rich or rich family's daughter.

Ah well we all know about the divorce rates amongst the rich chaebols in S Korea when they marry an ordinary woman. Howevee this is a drama.

She's a smart cookie. She always gets the message from those short sentences. Well he lives in the corporate world full of sharks. I don't see why he has to be soft and caring.

I would also say she was inexperienced. She has a Science Masters, no admin experience or business experience, did not confirm the other person Su has concrete finance before starting a new company. I was kinda freaked out at her inexperience. She only had 400 000 and even she would know you have to be able to survive a year or more on savings before turning a profit.

I am more amazed Han Ting didn't nag her more than he did. Luckily he is a man of few words.

Disadvantages? They are equalising now in terms of business sense, her company's products so she will present as a viable marriage prospects. She has her own confidence in her programming skills. Its not as if she is like an uneducated country girl who only finished high school. We have plenty of those in other dramas.

She is educated, has supportive parents, good friends and business success. I don't see why she is at a disadvantage. There are not that many nouveau riche female CEOs running around in any Cdrama. She is already a superb catch.

Lol. You analysed. Most Kdramas do not fare well if they are taken apart and dissected.

I've made my peace with it provided it's not way out ridiculous. I was actually having issues with the in- your- face parents. Or the fact that she spent 7 years studying for one job. I understand that she lives in a small town but this level of stubbornness does not bode well between 2 strong personalities.

Her moodiness? In another drama it will be depression.

So yeah it doesn't pay to be logical while watching a kdrama.

The issue here is the secrecy. She never planned to let her friends know. He is the ex. He doesn't need to call her out of the blue to tell Li Xing. The whole issue is the friendship between the 4 of them being at risk. If she has made the choice to pursue him she could at least tell Li Xing she was interested but she never did.

Even I felt that it was inappropriate that the ex- boyfriend and her bestie bougnt her birthday cake.

Everything was just so underhanded. She was doing no one a favour. If Li Xing ever found out she lent YC money before they broke up it would be even worse.

Yup. Everything would have felt less icky if she had done that so that LX had the time and choice to continue the friendship. Everyone is an adult.

I had 10% sympathy for Qiuzi until tonight. You wanted your best friend's man. You went onto him whihe is on the rebound. Yet have no guts to admit you went first?

Why does he need to defend you? She is the person who latched on the guy without giving him space and totally devoted your free time to him.

Do you want me to say " I told you so. " All those who said Ko Won didn't behave like a stalker or be interested in Im Sun ? I know we all know he knows it's Mi Jin but he has no boundaries and see? See see see... the cafetaria scene. Although I must admit to almost spitting out my drink as well at the Detective absolutely dying watching them.

I laughed way too much for ep 9. I swear it's really, really funny.

The conclusion from last week's cliffhanger was the funniest thing. Another thing... I do not have 2nd lead syndrome. Are we watching the same drama?

The Prosecutor is like this cool elegant Great Dane and Ko Won is a like a yappy jumpy Jack Russell. Don't listen and no brains to think- this is not specific to Jack Russell the breed but those small yappy no boundaries, jumping up and down dogs.

Thanks. I will check it out. Now this is what I was looking for. I've only watched 3 of them. Now I can go check out the others. Ive never even heard of 1/2 of them.

It's not just different taste; I don't follow the Cdrama scenes. I watched mainly Kdramas and only started Cdramas 2 years ago. People use a lot of abbreviations during comments about dramas they are watching. I don't even know what they are talking about. I can watch a drama's last episode and if I like the directing and vibe then start at episode 1.

As long as there is good flow I'd give it a go. China has too many dramas.

I've been managing drama channels for longer than you think. Analysing a plot point is why some of us comment. Not everyone is here to talk about ratings or gush over anyone's looks. Some of us are here because what makes or breaks a drama is good writing, directing and acting.

Darn. I actually like him when he is with HT. I think the Su guy is a puppy. She is a mature woman. She doesn't need be written as yet another jaded female who discovers the innocence of love with a younger, less succeful man. That seems to be a common plot.

I am onto ep 12. I haven't reached the 8 month time skip. I can't see it on the screen.

The break up was in the morning. The dinner was the same night. Then they showed her working. Even if its under one month HT remark to say it was shorter than that (referring to the 1-2 months ) was in reference to that.

Don't get me wrong. I am not hung up on Yichen. I already watched ep 21 but his assessment of her was accurate. That's fine.

I was actually watching to see how they were canvassing for funds and thinking that her initial capital was so little.

I am actually more invested in Li Li and the Mr Xiao and his secret.

I've already read the spoilers after HT is with LX anyway so its actually the 2nd or3rd couple.

One think I would say though Zeng Di looked like his mum although she is young.

Its just that Cdramas finish fast so its easier to finish 1 Cdrama within a month.

Oh dear God I must have watched more dramas then I remembered. I have finished both Blossoms in adversity and Back from the brink. I dropped The Last Immortal and I don't know why.

My preferences? Good storytelling. Acting and directing.

Costumes, sets, budget is optional. Excessive torture- no no.

HT asked Tang how long someone takes to get over a break up. He said 1-2 months and her business proposal was given earlier.

I am not talking about Han Ting. I am talking about Ji Xing functioning well after a break up. The 8 month time skip is not relevant to my point. I presume its somewhere in ep 12-17 but it has nothing to do with Yi Chen.

You're talking to me? I do. I check out Kissh daily to see what there is. I saw a few new dramas but comments were bad. That is why I asked because I don't actually know who is watching with. Those viewers don't seem happy. I am talking about Treasures around and Her fantastic adventure.

I don't follow the Cdrama gossip or know who's filming what. I am lucky if I know what their names are. I am rewatching You are my glory and The sword and the brocade for lack or something to watch.

So I never know when there is an upcoming drama

Done. Unfortunately I have watched all these. I happen to like Bai Jing Ting. I also finished The Double and Follow your heart.

I've been procrastinating on The Story of MingLan. I've watched the last episode twice in an effort to start episode 1. If nothing turns up I might have to. I don't like both main leads- and their dramas. They can act. Just not my style.
