Alright you convinced me I will give it a go.. Similar series I watched was a dream of splendor.. I enjoyed the 24 episodes I watched a lot but I read in comments that it has almost 10 episodes separation nd they didn't even show leads getting married by end as it was heavily implied from start as fls one of the main wishes

Does it have triangle? Is it heavily family politics?

I have given you my reasons.. We have similar tastes but there could be some exceptions for sure.. If you don't enjoy it even in your second time then no need to watch just for the sake of watching.. I would say give ATLEAST first 10 episodes of ROTP a chance nd I will also recommend you awaken nd the King of Pigs

Regarding leads relationship in ROTP there love was foreshadowed as tragic from earlier arcs itself nd many times later on..

I can say for one thing regarding ROTP the male lead actor Chen kun this is my only series of his and he nailed his character damn! I started rise of the Phoenixes for NINI as I had just loved her in parallel world but while watching ROTP I ended up Liking ml more believe me he's named drama queen after this show lol 😂 drama queen not king for various reasons you will know as you watch. I just recently finished the King of pigs and AWAKEN.. Both have morally Grey leads at some levels a must watch!

Xuanhuan includes verses that doesn't solely include/focus gods demons realm stuff as core instead have everything else (it's kinda mix of wuxia nd xianxia) - Alchemy of souls from Korea is one prime example nd from China side - lost you forever, the blue whisper
Wuxia-heavily martial arts focused /manipulation/scheming/politics with cultivation involving the jiangu world - joy of life, sword snow stride, blood of youth etc

ND transferring the evolved NAJIN.. Nd it's so obvious why it was showed inside a lake or river which was used as a medium for the whole process

The baby is obviously with the psycho scientist who also provided NAJIN + anthrax to maeda who survived the bombing
