I changed my ranting to complaining because I try not to be too offensive.. Sorry for that but all I can say is give the first 10-12 eps try then you will know if it's to your liking or not.

As you claim you have watched many xianxia then you should know for a series with a count of 50 eps the watcher at least needs to watch 10-12 eps to decide before if it's to there liking or not.. This is the usual standard set by most watchers that I know. Nd you have started complaining on ep2-3 itself.. The chars can't start being likeable from beginning... You will see how each character especially male nd female leads change throughout the series (char development it's called) So idk what to say to that

I have never seen that other guy but I know wang an yu from falling into you series.. He was great there with Gina Jin.. I honestly think the hairstyle they have given wang an yu here doesn't do him justice.. Watch him in modern series he has quite some hits in youth genre.. You will know..
