Anyone else notice it seemed like he only had a plate of peanuts in front of him at the dinner table, while everyone else had a plate of food? I notice weird things. I think because I was trying to tune out his utter rudeness.

I am waiting on good subs for The Blue Whisper. I really can't wait to watch it.

Oh and I almost forgot a huge one which was really popular toward the end of last year, beginning of this year. Sword Snow Stride. Not a lot of romance, actually hardly any, but the story is absolutely amazing.

if you like political dramas, a couple of my favorite are The Rise of the Phoenixes (really good) and Rebel Princess, also I really love The Story of Minglan (one of the few dramas I have watched multiple times, it is so good, the acting, production, story, everything is so well done) these do not have martial arts, but they are very well done. Also a couple of others, because I love Zhang Zhe Han and he is a great costume drama actor (although he is benched right now, hopefully not for long), watch Legend of Yun Xi and The Blooms of Ruyi Pavilion.

True, and the emperor seems a little shady anyway, by allowing YWY to send out fake empyrean stones/tablets (whatever they are).

I was thinking a secret army, because he has a secret identity which he probably would have gotten in trouble for if the king had of found out. ( I know the king is going to find out soon, but right now he doesn't know)

I was just curious, cause he hid Fountain Abode so well, that I am surprised he wouldn't be able to hide an army or keep them in secret somewhere. But yeah building the range at which Fountain Abode is, is definitely a feat.

I am surprised he (HFX/Lanxi) is just now starting to build his own army. You would think in all the 8 or 10 yrs of raising up Fountain Abode he would start gathering a mass of people or followers etc. Even recruiting or borrowing from the emperor seeing as how he is his uncle. I am actually quite surprised for someone who wants to rule the world he doesnt have more of a foothold in Dadong empire.

He is the nephew of the main emperor of Dadong. You would think his King father would treat him better and not be an ass or else he could suffer the wrath of the emperor. I am actually surprised Lanxi doesn't have more connections or reliabilty on the emperor. They made us think the emperor really loved his sister and would dote on his nephew.

I will add to those funds! Hell I will even serve as tribute to accomplish said cause.

I cringe every time they go back to Yongzhou (Lanxi's kingdom). I am so tired of seeing those people. I was loving these last few episodes where they were away from all that and seeing more from the other kingdoms, it was nice. (still watching episode 25, just a brief comment)

I just started watching the new episodes. Not 10 mins in and I am loving it. I love the flashback of the kids. It is so cute. And then he got all excited because he thinks she is jealous. I think she was about to slip up about her being XY and she had to recover. Anyway, back to watching more. Will probably stop episodes to post more as I am watching the new episodes.

I could watch most of these again, no problem. First, Second, Third time. What I can't watch again and wish I could for the first time is Princess Agents. Knowing the ending of it, makes me sad. I want to watch it, the acting, production, story, all of it is so good, but I hated the ending, it just was like that's it. It felt so incomplete.

its been all over these comments as well. the producer and director were in a relationship, the director messed around with the actress who plays the maid, then the producer during the editing process cut out all her visual scenes, so we never see her, but hear her. I am so frustrated by it, cause it really takes away from the scene. I have never seen this happen before in all the dramas I have ever watched.

yeah in some parts I agree, definitely if it was with different actors as well. I think the actors are the only reason I am still watching it. It really is a great cast. I wish the production and story were better. Don't get me wrong the martial arts aspect of it is really good. I even like political dramas, but this one is really getting redundant.

he has 3 support role dramas out right now: WRTW, Simmer Down, and Love in the Flames of War. He plays the antagonist in The Flame's Daughter, he plays the ML in Jiu Liu Overlord, he plays a support role in The King's Avatar with Yang Yang. He was downright sexy in the Legend of FuYao (if you haven't watched that, you must, because omg I could watch that one just for Leon Lai), besides ALP and TMoPB, that were mentioned. I don't know if you can tell, but I am huge fan of his, every since I saw him in FuYao.
