I love the bits of comedy in this. Just watching this scene:
""The roof is still intact. It doesn't need to be repaired" "In one month there were eight big explosions and 18 small explosions" "Our junior Xiaoxiang is actually an explosives expert at such a young age" "To be the sect leader's last disciple, one has to be special in some way after all" "To special"
It doesn't seem that comical just reading, but those two standing there talking about it, made it 100xs more funny, by their expressions alone.
Am I one of the few people that like Yang Chao Yue’s acting? Basically all the comments on her other main roles…
I have liked her acting and her ever since I first saw her in Dance of the Phoenix. I also can understand from the other point of view, because I too feel there a few actors/actresses that aren't very good at acting and they are just there for their looks or for it to be an "idol" drama.
Sometimes, the actor/actress just isn't suited for a particular role. Not necessary that they are a bad actor or actress. A huge example for me is Wang Chu Ran, she is a great actress, she did really well in The Longest Promise, but personally I felt she was horrible in Fireworks of My Heart. I felt her acting in that to be stiff and not believable and uncomfortable to watch, but that is just my opinion.
I have seen a lot of growth in YCY and I think she will be and is a good actress. I do think that we shouldn't compare and contrast other actors to each other, because they are all at different levels or stages in their acting.
No, she didn't. But there are 7 writers for this drama, don't tell me that each one write one life ( haha )
exactly this, cause I don't read these novels or if I do it is way after I have watched the drama, but they would have to be subbed in English. I prefer when they do deviate from the source material as well (as long as it doesn't ruin the story), I like to be surprised and I like to see the novel readers be surprised. I have seen a few dramas where some novel readers enjoyed changes that were made in the drama vs what was in the novel.
Why is it a compilation from Love Between Fairy and Devil? Are there any similar aspects?
This is the most asked question. They have the same author and there is the same music from LBFAD in LYST as well. And it is sort of the same universe, that is basically the only correlations there are. A couple of the support cast were in LBFAD, but they are not playing the same people here. Other than that nothing else.
He's like the CEO at the party no one wants to sit next to lol. He's so cuuute!🤗🤗🤗🤗
I would sit next to him, just to see his dimples. Also, I love the voice he is using when he is in the heavenly realm. I know it is his voice, but I think they modded it to make a bit deeper.
I am a bit confused... currently watching ep. 13... (more in spoiler below)
So the God of War and the Heavenly Emperor are brothers, didn't know that. So Xiu Ming had a thing for Cang Hai in the past, it seems he didn't want her killed or were they talking about someone different (him and the emperor on that cliff). The Emperor (King, whatever) said that XY reminded him of a friend from the past was he referring to her original life assuming that was when she was Cang Hai? Ugh, so many questions. I want to know more about this past life.
She is a cloud fairy actually right now, when she is in the heavenly realm. But from what I have gathered from…
I can see that take on it, never looked at it that way. Although, I still believe that XY is not the saintess. But your theory does hold water. If that demon guy hadn't of said anything, then I might believe it, but he actually took in some of Ying Shi's essence and he explained how he knew she was the saintess. If I am wrong I will definitely admit it. It will be interesting to see what happens.

No, not Cang Hai, if you watch episode 12 at about the 24:50 mark you will see those 2 demons talking and they say that the saintess was living in Ying Shi, she was hiding. Cang Hai is a different demoness, not sure what her relationship is to the demon realm yet. (I haven't read the novel myself, if this scenario is even in the novel)
I guess I am going to have to watch Chong Zi to see why everyone is giving her a bad rep. Cause I have absolutely…
will do, I was hoping it wouldn't be bad, cause I love watching Jeremy Tsui and I was excited to see them together, although I don't know why I haven't started watching it, probably got sidetracked with something else. As I usually can only watch one on going drama at a time and while I am waiting for the on going one, I will have replays of other dramas on or will start a drama I have been meaning to watch.
I have now binged all 12 episodes. I have to give props to the FL - YCY because she is doing it in this drama…
I guess I am going to have to watch Chong Zi to see why everyone is giving her a bad rep. Cause I have absolutely loved her acting since I saw her in Dance of the Phoenix. I have been meaning to watch Chong Zi and Heroes, but haven't really sat down to watch them. Also, what I watched of Fireworks of My Heart, I liked her in that as well, although her character was annoying (but that was the character, not her), at least what I watched of FOMH, didn't finish, cause well that is a different story.
