Even Wang YiBo couldn't save this drama. I watched the first maybe 10 episodes or so and then I skipped every 5 episodes and then even fast forwarded through those episodes, got to the end and still was totally bored. It was way to long and typical troupe stories and they just weren't very good. The characters were boring and it didn't keep my attention.
My last hope Cast them together in a period drama, where WK is a general and TSY is strong headed but playing a…
Under the Power is where I first fell in love with her too and Allen Ren. She is good in her modern dramas too, but I just love her in costume dramas. The Sword and the Brocade is my absolute favorite Seven Tan drama.
The acting is what led this drama. Overall, I think it was a really good drama. Yes there were some episodes that were not needed, dragged out, stupid plot point, but the acting made up for all of it. I think without the chemistry of the main leads this drama would not have been good.
I kind of wish they had showed her meeting her mom and dad and GNT's mom at the end of her maiden flight. A bit disappointed on some of the scenes that would have been more interesting to watch than what we got. Having GNT's eye problem wait til the last episode was bit overdramatic. I think it should have been in one of the previous episodes vs that last episode.
One of my biggest pet peeves with dramas, mostly modern C Dramas, is they do good with the first 10 or 15 episodes, slow down or drag the story out in the middle and then rush the last 2 to 3 episodes, which it sort of seemed like they did that here as well. They got together, solved the Jiang problem, solved her mother's PTSD, solved the case of the rumor, rushed relationship between best friend, had eye surgery, had a maiden flight, new relationship between YH, etc. all this done within pretty much the last 4 episodes. This series could have easily been 28 episodes maybe even less.
It still is a good drama and I definitely will rewatch it again, at least for the chemistry alone. Definitely some great acting, even in the supporting cast.
it almost looks like he ages backwards or never ages at all, I feel that way with a lot of Korean actors... Ji Chang Wook and Song Joong Ki as well, love both of them, too
This could have totally ended at her captain party and I would have been completely satisfied. It looks like they are putting a lot into the last episode, unnecessary stuff. Nice to know it just takes her a room full of flowers to get a kiss. (lol, I know there was a bit more to it, but still....lots of flowers)
If you're looking for classy old-school actors, these might be up your alley...• Wang Kai - When a Snail Falls…
I love your list. I really love Zhang Ruo Yun. Ever since I saw him in Novaland: Castle in the Sky and Sword Snow Stride, ugh he is so great. Also, William Chan in Novoland; Pearl Eclipse, it really is the only one I have watched him in, but he was so good in it. I have several actors I love to watch. Zhang Zhe Han is one of my absolute favorite actors, him and Ju Jing Yi together are one of my favorite on screen couples (next being Bai Lu and Xu Kai). Unfortunately not sure when or if I will ever get to see him on screen again. Leon Lai is another, but he does mostly support, but omg I love watching him, especially in costume dramas.
They have had to do some evacuations around us because a lot of the rivers are overflowing. Luckily the town we live in has been okay, just a lot of downed trees and a few flooded streets. Last night around 3 AM was probably the worst we have had, Tornado warning, huge lightening and thunderstorms, my kids and the dog all woke up because of it.
If you are into chef's theme "cupid kitchen" "Dine with love" " Dating in the kitchen" 🤣🤣🤣 all guys are…
yes I wish he was in more lead roles. I always forget he is in Love is Sweet. I first saw him in Legend of FuYao, then in The King's Avatar but only as support roles.
I think The Heirs was my first, but I have watched almost all of his now. Two of my absolute favorite K Dramas and it is so weird, I don't know why I love them so much is "Cinderella and Her Four Knights" (Jung Il Woo is another one of my favorites) and "You're Beautiful". I really like Park Shin Hye as well, after watching The Heirs I pretty much binged Lee Min Ho's and Park Shin Hye's dramas.

Gao Han Yu, is so good looking to me, have you watched him in Flipped. I believe it is episode 7, 8 or 9. I can't remember there is a shaving scene and it is probably one of the hottest scenes I have seen in a Chinese modern drama. I loved that scene.
Wallace huo " Love me if you dare" "Battle of changsa "
omg yes, Love me if you dare... he is so hot too lol. Also, I like Wallace Chung as well a lot of his dramas are really good. My favorite of his is of course with Seven Tan, Sword and the Brocade, but also I like him in General and I (even though I am not a fan of Angelababy) and also My Sunshine. (edit: lol I wrote this before I read the further down comments)
