After coming here from a really deep drama “My Liberarion Notes “ every week (ended tonight), It’s Beautiful Now” acts as antidote to my fried brain cells lol Absolutely love this drama … three core entertaining couples, the wit and humor. Yoon Jae is a real dim wit make me lol the most, Hyun Jae is borderline clueless, and Soo Jae a lost cause. … metaphorically speaking.
Kudos to “Our Blues’ riveting plots which tackle controversial issues from teen pregnancy, mental illness, mentally challenge, and complex relationships is so compelling which is a rarity in K-dramas. Each story pulls at one’s heartstrings … episode 15 definitely hit a raw nerve !
I can’t begin to describe what a brilliant scriptwriter … I believe no other piece of of writing could ever be so enthralling as the scriptwriter had undertaken for My Liberation Notes, ending the drama with a riveting performance ! From the music score, cinematography and transition detailing of each individual was executed in precision.
“Life is a journey, not a destination.” “To finish the moment, to find the journey’s end in every step of the road, to live the greatest number of good hours, is wisdom.” :- Ralph Waldo Emerson
It serves to remind us destination is not our only goal. Our life’s journey is filled with setbacks and achievements but we must learn to savor and cherish every bit of it.
Can you explain what you mean by Three Lives Three Worlds? A rare find even if reincarnation is true?
I meant to express for me personally …. Mr. Gu is one of a kind … a rare find … As for Three Lives Three Worlds, it’s a Cdrama … even in those worlds if it exist Mr. Gu is a rare find … metaphorically speaking. Hope that helps ?
Mr. Gu and all the three siblings have very distinct and intricate roles, including each and every supporting cast. The production team is a class act. The subtlety interactions, point-on dialogue, the attention to details i.e. music score and cinematography that create the aural mood and visual story telling experience for each scene intensify the characters raw emotions.
My Liberation Note is absolutely a piece of art !
And Mr. Gu … he is an “antiquity” … a rare find even if “Three Lives Three Worlds” exists.
Mr. Gu and Mi Jung finally reuniting on a picturesque bridge makes me feel what power of love can do … makes the impossible possible and makes the unbearable bearable.
The scene strikes me as arguably one of the most unforgettable scene in K-dramas. For me it’s akin to the scene of Jack and Rose on the bow of the ship in “Titanic”.
NM made a commendable break with WR, it was swift and decisive. It would have been an added bonus if we could get to see NM and JM get together in there latest episodes 28 & 29.
Love the simplicity of Mr Gu and MJ’s interactions ie the frog and goat … it’s so funny how MJ’s puts it and yet Mr. Gu’s expression shows despite coming from the shady / gangster background, he couldn’t quite fantom MJ’s expressionless face and having no qualms seeing the squashed dead frogs and eating the goat.
The Liberation Note is like a perfect 4C diamond … internally flawless !
Mr. Gu is “The” new benchmark of a true blue K-actor ! I have not yet seen a K-actor who works at being the perfectly imperfect character so effortlessly.
Apparently Mr. Gu and MJ slept together that night when they kissed😳she washed her hair and everything…
I read your comment much earlier. I thought of you in tonight’s episode during the MJ’s pregnant scene with Mr. Gu. You’ were spot on and really sharp.
Let’s pray for the best “The Liberation Note” will bow out with the another 5 superb episodes ! This is the finest K-drama I’ve watched in the pandemic era. From the entire production team to the casts, everyone is deserving of a win in SK list of film awards .
I think with only 5 episodes to go and with so many loose ends we need to tie up with this drama, I'd say yes.…
Kind of reminds me of Chinese black n white films I recall back during my grandparents days when thunder n lightning appears in the seen lol means they are done hitting the sheets.
You made some really good points! Thank you!As I pointed out before with my comments, the FL role in the later…
Thank you : ) well … great minds think alike. And how may I address you ?
It’s a credible possibility now that you pointed out about the writers … we are witnessing inconsistency in NM’s character development. I am supportive of NM’s choice of SWR given LJM’s mixed signals. Her actions appears to be contradictory, she stood her ground when LJM finally confessed his feelings whereas she wavered when it’s comes to SWR despite repeatedly having reservations.
I am a pandemic-drama newbie lol. I knew of Lin Geng Xin in To Love and like his acting. I will stay true for LGX.
“Let’s pray for the best and be prepared to expect the expected’.
okay then my ques with you is : will you doubt your boyfriend or any close one if things goes wrong in you career?…
NM indecisiveness is detrimental to LJM and costly. LJM no doubt has his shortcomings and quirky ways of showing his support but he has always had NM’s back covered and does mot take credit for it. Unlike NM, she often misunderstand and accuse LJM for being the bad person .
