i actually put it on on-hold for nearly a month cuz i didn't see the premise like how A Breeze of Love had done it before. i gave a chance today because im actually miss them so badd like i really adore them in A Breeze of Love so i thought why not give a chance to this one?
although, yes the ending sucks just like everyone say but i do like it. cuz i believe in a theory where you will create a paradox if you come back to the past. and the director potrays the story very-well with the Parallel Timelines Paradigm/Multiverse theory.
not to give y'all too much spoilers for new viewers out there, basically when X (timeline A) comes back to the past to save Y (also in the timeline A) (timeline A = original timeline), as soon as you interact with the people in the past, that's when the paradox created. yes, X might have successfully prevent the accident that will happen to Y, but that's just gonna create a new timeline caused by multi layer (?) paradox. The universe resolves this paradox by snapping open a brand-new branch, a.k.a the Timeline B.
In Timeline B: yes!! Y is saved! He survives the accident and lives a full, happy life. BUT, The X who saved Y was a visitor from Timeline A . Once that future consciousness leaves or snaps back to the present, the Y in Timeline B is left wondering what happened to the version of X who magically knew the future and saved him. They are separated by the fabric of reality itself.
so when X gains consiousness, he still lives in timeline A where Y is actually dead. and the Y that is still living his life very-well is actually living in the different universe. this matches so well with the ending's season changes, and T's unknown of Y's whereabout. oops that's too much spoiler. yeah basically like that
i can't believe i saw Fluke again in this big 2026 like omggg where were uuu😭 my pfp has been his pic since 2021 im glad he got main role again wish him more success in life💚
it;s been a long time since I watched it but I guess they have, like kissed a bit but ofc their chemistry FAILED…
only 1 couple of ML and FL, nothing else as they are more exploring the plot, each 1-2 or 3 episodes will have different cases that they have to solve. and because of that, the ML and the other detective guy who is on the same team as the ML have more screentime than ML-FL, of course with that amount of screentime it is impossible to not have a slight bromance right? the bromance in this drama is marvelous, i still liked it to this day. if the director wanted to remove the FL character to completely only bromance like "Guardian" (2018) it wouldn't cause much impact cus the FL doesn't do any plot-sense here.
Og “ Addicted” fan.. y’all are the same hating on the adaption .. comparing which is a biggest mistake 🙄
and?? what's the point of making an adaptation completely goes far than the original works? and of all that the director of this scrappy thai ver. wasn't even gotten a permission from the original novel writer in china that caused mass boycott in the mainland during first day release. you're the one who can't appreciate the art of works.
it's tough to pin down whether this is bl or not. some people might say yes, while others would say no. i’ve…
bl is more like gay utopia where anything good but in here it's more the gay who knocked off of reality. if anyone ever watched Chosen Home 2025, would they also not considered that series a BL (refers to same-sex love story) when the series literally potrays the reality living of the gays?. also, i agree with you that this is such a masterpiece art of work. the ratings here proved that people are not artistic enough to appreciate it
i actually quite shocked to know this series is on YOUKU. the homophobes platform app. well, since many times I tried to watch this onGaga but often shows trouble, i just watched this on Youku instead. Gaga should fix their app bug lol
im tired of Yu Lei's cousin. NO gurl, love is matter when it comes to age. altho im glad she didn't force her feelings to chen ke. it is weird beyond absurd if she had done it
is this like a horror horror? like w/ jumpscares & everything that (may) will haunt you?
it's not like typical jumscare like a ghost in typical american horror. The haunted spirit (Rampheung) is very well blended with the storyline with her back story so that you'd understand why she haunts the ML. It's not that scary jumscare-ish. The only jumscare I've felt was only in episode 1
ik this is not totally queer film but my local Cinepolis in my area has just began to re-airing this movie.... im anxious!! cuz it's not common for even slightly queer themed movie to air in this homophobes country. just watched it today and im glad the atmosphere is calm. nobody reacted to any scenes. we're like the crowds that watch Red Velvet's 2018 North Korean performance lol
nvm. just wait keita machida in a new bl again even if it takes a hundred years
