Person Shu Yuan
very good actor. I thought he was mid 30’s with a young face. I was surprised to learn he’s 24 based on his very poised and nuance performance. he is quite a talent.

Even chaebe dared to show interest in seung ho so yeah he's not THAT of a saint either. I don't think I can vent…
May partner and I who have been together for close to 30 years have a 12 year age gap at 21 and 33 when we met. We just clicked. But we each had to have friends our own age, especially the first ten years or so, because that span of years in birth year difference can absolutely get in the way of relationship dynamics in early adulthood. The age gap ironically closes in middle age from a mental standpoint and makes far less of a difference. Plus we gay guys generally stay in shape and don't decay at the same rate as straight people....LOL.

The way everyone showed up at the same place in the love triangles was diabolical. My mouth is dry from it hanging…
Yeah, the ending was uncomfortable. You can tell the producers coached them to grab the hand of and walk away with their chosen one without a word. Harsh.

Seungho acted every bit the part of being age 21, that's for sure.

As time goes by, KBL's don't seem to be living up to the promise of earlier shows. There are of course exceptions, but The Eighth Sense stands the test of time and now really stands out at the top of the genre with only a few other Korean BL heavy hitters that I can count on one hand.

The “I Promised You the Moon” style director switch was noticeable. Still, a quality first ep. just hope we are done with Flashbacks. Seems beneath the high bar set by Gel Boys. Giving it a chance, but there’s only one Boss.

The fact that you like History 3, Eighth Sense and Payback makes you my BL soulmate!
eight sense is perhaps the most underratedK BL drama of all. Beyond the main couple , every character was 3 dimensional from the owner of the college bar to roommate to head of the surfing club, they built a believable world that felt real and needed no cowbells and slide whistles. the only thing that comes close is potentially love class 2.

Run do not walk to watch it if you need something with more going on that a cute slow burn romance. This is more in the Kinn Porsch realm, has some really over the top NC scenes, but where the story matters as much if not more than romance part of the drama.

Marcia said “…free boss from the cringy scrips he does with Noel”, which is pretty clearly a criticism of the writing and not the actor.

For the first time ever, I'm actually thankful for a weekly release. The raw emotion in this show is so intense…
like a really expensive bottle of whine you want to savor not chug

I think they relate to the sad realistic plot 😔😢 they are closeted and have a religious family
For some it’s not BL without slide whistles and elephant sfx , fever sponge baths, awkward falls with prolonged stares, time travel, vampires, or step brother sex, and an episode 11 breakup. For the rest of us , there’s episode 2 of Ticket to Heaven and one of the most artistic final scenes we have ever seen.

What I'm feeling watching Ticket to Heaven is what I felt when I watched I Told Sunset About You. I knew I was…
You words from my brain. Who’dve thunk this would be put out by the BL machine network which cornered the market on bongo, slide whistle and boing sound effects.

I’ve reached a point where I’ve watched enough BL that finishing a series now requires something more, something…
I agree. I find myself bailing 90% of the stories. But this one was special…right through the last scene.
