When HYR did her one-man protest, I smiled remembering she did that too at her father's office when she was younger. It shows how the little details they showed in earlier episodes that make up the character's personality are on point. Tight writing.

More than no wealth or power, I think they were at least not as rich and reputable as the AH husband/abuser/murderer. A divorce would mean they are no longer "connected" with this affluent family. Based on kdrama and news, this seems a social construct in Korea when it comes to marriages.
I am scared for this drama being a 16 ep one. It was a good 12 ep content, now it feels a bit stretchy.
I don't think it's stretchy or draggy after the divorce. Here they are showing life after divorce and where these events would take CEK and HYR. Since Good Partner is more a character driven story, there's still area to explore.
