So far, I'm still out on this one. It reminds me of Durian's Affair. The beginning part along the same lines with…
DA started off good and quite dramatic but it sadly didn't land the ending once the MIL and director loveline happened. Such a waste, that one.
This one, I feel is more comedic in approach than dramatic. Even language design for joseon era had some modern speak here and there. But overall I find it forgivable since I'm not expecting a prime sageuk drama but a fantasy romcom.
First episode did well to capture my attention. I got invested on ML and FL getting together and the strange eyed Kisaeng. I want Sa Wol to still be in the modern times too. She was entertaining.
I kinda wish she goes back to sleep everytime and have a dream, so that we could see more of Han Rita and Doha.
it's funny that ML and FL wants the same thing. FL saying "I want to dream more to know what happens" = viewers too ML anxiously waiting for her to dream = also viewers too
Bai Yu and Ni Ni really worked well together. Collaborating on how to execute scenes, improvising scenes, changing some scenes to make it better. Even the novel writer praised them in how well they knew their characters and expanded on what she wrote.
May I ask is this boring? Dylan wang fanatics pls do not respond. I need a sensible person to answer me
For me this is a filler drama. Just engaging enough, but plot is very thin so don't expect that. But in between some intense or emotional dramas, this makes for a good breather.
If anyone here is hesitant, please give it a try. To be honest, I wasn't so sold in it on Ep1. The firefighter scenes felt lacking (I just watched Fireworks of My Heart a few months back, so I couldn't help but compare) and Kim Do Ha being the arrogant foolishly in love actor annoyed me. But the last 15 mins of the Ep1 gave me enough reason to continue and so far, I'm glad I did.
