This is not wuxia. Wuxia is martial arts drama that focus in the journey of the Hero who learn and master such a martial arts skills and beat the Jianghu world in his hands. This One and Only is palace/historical chinese drama. Even tho there is a war and martial arts but its more general like swordplay in the palace and something.
Finally some ppl who agreed and openly accept the fact that this show gave us cdrama xianxia feels. Nothing wrong with admitting that since chinese historical fantasy drama is popular in this genre. The swordplay, the magic, etc.

I wanna say, Joy of Life is NOT xianxia. Fantasy genre in that drama is only "Time Travel" elements. Xianxia is all about martial arts in 3 realms and superpower between non human creatures. In xianxia, you can find heaven realm (Fairy, Gods, Goddesses, Mythical creatures), Demon realm, and Human realm. Plus they can be reincarnated. From goddess to human for example because of her own trial in story. They have martial arts with swords + power with colorful laser. Cultivation, Sleeping for hundred or thousand years, the fate of being savior or destroyer. Its ALL XIANXIA elements. Wuxia is a pure martial arts (Swords play, Flying to the air with sword, inner power, etc) but its only for human. No god or goddesses or even demons in wuxia. Joy of Life got martial arts but its too general if you wanna say it wuxia. Palace drama also had archery and sword fighting. So Joy of Life is palace drama with fantasy elements.
I hopeee... I really hope iQiyi will release the drama as the schedule promised. its June 17th on 12.00 P.M (GMT+8) in China Timezone. So just adjust to your countries time. "Coming Soon" label always bothers me. No delay like Gold Panning please.
Besides its face swap technology on ML, this drama is enjoyable actually. Its very rare to see a drama takes the story of journey from fashion designers and buyers. Not even kdrama. You can see some kdramas (Now We Are Breaking Up, Fashion King, Style, etc) had fashion themed but they didnt execute it so detail like Miss Buyer.
But the negative thing about this drama is the ending. I didnt mind if they could add some episodes more to solve the mess in the end. Or it would have been great, If they had finished the ending in eps 23 after the success of fashion show.

Dont mind her/him. I am already done talking to her/him before. And its so difficult to make him/her understand. She/he is too biased for korean drama. Its one sided heavy indeed. Its not wrong if we say about this drama is similar to chinese wuxia/xianxia drama because chinese historical fantasy drama is a well known genre and its popular among asian drama viewers.

Yes, You are right. Its a normal for people to compare it to wuxia/xianxia/xuanhuan because Chinese Historical Fantasy genre is so popular especially among the asian drama viewers. No matter what that person said, she/he cant deny one fact. Korean dynasties were heavily influenced by Chinese culture and clothes. Even Joseon king robes + official minister clothing + warrior/sword fighter clothes + early women hanbok were influenced by Ming Dynasty style. Then Joseon people modified it with their own style and we know it as Korean Hanbok today.
For Scarlet Heart (Korean Version), yes, its indeed Hanfu. The setting was in Goryeo and it was heavily influenced by Chinese (Song Dynasty). Silla/Goguryeo/Baekje (Three Kingdoms Era) was also the same. Their clothes were influenced by Chinese Dynasties (Han, Tang, Song, etc)
