For BL it's different case. No matter how they removed the gay elements, it's still bromance and it has different vibes. And censorship already knew the tricks. So it's harder for them.

Dont worry, period costume dramas will be still released. As long as the production teams dont make something weird in the scenes or offended the censorship. They will do anything to make the dramas can be aired.

Unchained Love was also in tough trial after twists and turns. But it still can be aired. Some ppl said it was because of controversial themed like consort n "eunuch" love story. Plus they also tried to reduce Dylan's influence n popularity.

Just pray all your fave actors wont do something illegal or immoral. China is like eagle's eyes now.

But Sleepless Princess had special episode to wipe away "the open ending". It's happy and alive.

You wont find this type of make up in modern dramas. Even the "dewy make up" is not as extreme as "wet" and "oily" like in this drama.

Kdramas make up is very very natural. I never see this extreme sweating type of looks in other dramas, especially for most actresses like Park Min Young, Lee Da Hee, Moon Ga Young, Song Hye Kyo, and many more. They showed flawless smooth skin n make up. Except they have scenes after going exercise/sports or do something that required the sweaty looks.

Maybe for Joseon yes, because their hair is always in wet look. But it's still different with shiny sweating looks like Park Ju Hyun had in this drama.

However, we should respect each other opinions. Just end it here. I am also lazy to debate this kind of things. It's not important + I also dont care.

Yup. But i feel it is more "fantasy" than classic xianxia type like TMOPB, Ashes of Love, Immortal Samsara, n Love & Redemption. I love the classic type more.

I hate love alarm because FL chose 2nd ML. Just fyi. Not everyone is happy if the writer made the FL choose the SML.

But for The King Loves, I agree with the FL choice. So it still depends on how the script + chemistry works.

Then you should watch "The King Loves" and "Love Alarm".

The FL (both dramas) chose 2nd lead guy in the end. So it's nothing new. Instead, It pissed off many people in the end. And the writer got backlash because of the ending. So it's still a risky movement to make FL choose SML. There is always the other sides who can't satisfy to anything.

I hate love triangle between 2 women and 1 man actually. Plus I also hate love triangle for obsessive people like SML from Cheer Up n Love in Contract.
