Good for her. And as to being observant, if you're convinced that she has displayed enough micro expressions, then that's your truth. For me, when she is in a scene with other actors, I don't find her acting convincing enough to make a judgement as to her emotions in that moment and that's my truth. Hope that makes sense to you.

Sounds to me that we are different people, making different observations and to me, in a scene when she is with other actors, her emotions are not coming through as well as others in her micro expressions, for example He Hong Shan. I'm on episode 2, it's still early days.Let's see how it goes in the future episodes. I hope you know that people are allowed to have opinions that are different than yours or other people, doesn't make them any less observant.

Actually, I watched some more and I realised the problem (for me at least). Because in the beginning she has scenes with He Hong Shan and her micro expressions are so good that in comparison, for me, SZE looks blank. Maybe it's part of character arc and since it's still the beginning, I'll give her the benefit of doubt. Like you said, I don't have prior experience with her acting so I guess I'll first have to get used to it.

I am not a hater of anyone in general, I don't have enough time , energy or inclination of that huhu. This is what I thought just based on the first episode. I am actually excited about this drama because I love the premise of an arranged marriage and enemies to lovers is my favourite trope. I think I just had too high expectations, since I really loved the trailer. But we will see how it goes in the upcoming episodes

I am not Chinese but based on how her dialogues are delivered in the beginning, I can hear that there's a lot of breath in her voice. Maybe it'll change in the latter episodes.

Yes, let's be strong together. There is only one drama I chased before and it really tortured me like anything, I was thinking about that drama even while working or waiting for the next episode the next day 😭 I am never doing that again, especially with a drama like POB, which is right up my alley.

No idea, I hope what you say comes true but from what I've seen of HYX, she is more reserved than bold. She does well with all the scripts that come her way but in an effort to break out on the big budget drama scene, some of her script choices were pretty okay. The only one that does her credit in recent years was Faithful. I hope she does more meaningful roles like that
I have noticed that LXY and HYX are more relaxed , fun and laughing when they're doing lives from their own places. When they all were doing the live together in one place, they both seemed awkward, polite and aloof. I think what they said in LXY's livestream was true...that they both have a little social anxiety.🙈

Yes he is so cute. He has actually started shooting another drama with Seven Tan so I'm sure he must be busy, yet he is making time for this. I find such sincerety and conviction very touching. And he also comments on HYX's weibo posts about the drama and they both exchange comments on weibo. It's really very nice of LXY.

Hehe I can't relate, I go crazy. There's only one drama I've ever chased ie A River Runs Through It and barely made it out alive lol. I promised myself I will never Chase dramas after that. Even Love Never Fails , I'm bringing at the end of each week. It's really good, I'm liking it
