Right, I'm sure there are many who are not happy with look of this couple together. But stating that respectfully and constructively, like the discussions we've had here, is so much better than spewing rude and hateful things. I see this a lot in korean and chinese internet users. Anonymity makes them feel arrogant enough to write these kinds of things.

That's true. I felt so bad for him at that point. He honestly looks so cute in his livestream and his voice is also amazing. He has acted really well in TBW , he should be proud!! His 'magic' related acting is probably the best in the whole drama. There are some scenes in which he looks very charismatic and powerful.
I like Kong ming...hahaha...I don't think he is ugly. He looks manly in my opinion 🤣
Yes, there are some shots in which he really looks powerful and sage like. I like him as an actor and I even like their cp, it has moments. So sad that the actor is getting so much hate that he responded to it :(
Just saw a few videos which say that Wang Zi Teng, the actor who plays Kong Ming, apologized in his livestream in response all the hate he's getting for his looks!! That's so sad 😭 I feel so bad for the guy, he's a really great actor and he looks so cute in his livestream. Many 'fans' were leaving comments like are all handsome actors extinct or even that his romantic scenes Luo Luo makes them uncomfortable. He apologized to Luo Luo and the audience for that. Ugggh I feel like crying, that's so sad.

I've read 100s of comments like that on bilibili. For example, I cannot heal my eyes after seeing that or Kong Ming, get away from that girl, Luo Luo. *sigh* The production has definitely made a very interesting casting choice and I, for one, don't mind it too much while still being aware of that there was so much more potential there,from the great interactions between Luo Luo and Kong Ming to HYX's looks and skill at creating chemistry. They had so much to work with to make them a secondary couple to be reckoned with. Right now, they're getting mostly negative publicity for the couple, which businesses consider good publicity too .

Yes, they're very good and very convincing. I definitely believe they're a couple, so at least the chemistry is on point. And they're very cute and going to get even cuter, going by the BTS in Shunde's vlog. I still ship this CP a lot but I'm not blind to what it could've potentially become if actors like Liu Xue Yi or Mao Zi Jun would've been Kong Ming. Even the thought of that is enough to give me butterflies.

Yes, the characters have great interactions and dialogue and such. But it will not get as popular or viral as say for example HaoYan from TLB or even Feng Jiu and Vengo Gao's CP from TMOPB. They have the potential to become a CP whose moments could possibly outshine even the main CP in some cases. But that won't happen now since Kong Ming is not played by any conventionally good looking actor. Although, I will say, Wang Zi Teng has his fair share of hot moments in this drama too. He is my type but I'm just having a hard time seeing him with HYX.

This couple definitely has the most passionate kisses and close up takes of the kiss scenes of all 3 couples. It's still not natural for me to ship these 2 actors but their characters have enough chemistry to make up for the aesthetic lack. I still enjoy this couple, I regret the waste of potential of this CP though. If the Kong Ming actor were hotter, with even decent acting skills, then this could have been a very popular couple/CP
