My fav ost from TLB is the one sung by Liu Yu Ning. I just fell in love with his acting and singing because of that drama.

I love both these dramas too. Historical is actually my go to genre. These two, along with the Nirvana in Fire series are definitely some of my most favorite historical dramas.

The first kdrama I ever watched was Full House, almost 10 years or so ago.
I don't remember my first cdrama, possibly Oh My Emperor or The Eternal Love season 1, definitely one of the two.

I am in the same boat. I haven't updated the list with all the dramas I've watched before. I have been watching Asian dramas for almost a decade now and I don't even know the number of dramas I've watched in that time. I'm also a prolific drama watcher. Only a few dramas, like this one, compel me to rewatch them. I actually created my mdl account because of this drama. I didn't even know about mdl before watching A river runs through it hehe

Yes, it's definitely hit or a miss. I liked some scenes and some parts of it but it was very hodge podge. Did like WRC in that too. He's a very convincing villain who still makes you feel sorry for him. He has good range.

Yes, I've only ever seen him in Eternal Love season 1 in which he was a villain. This drama has solidified my good impression of him.

Hehe you're right. I definitely have a soft corner for this drama. I loved the characters and the actors so much. The chemistry especially blew me away completely, maybe that's why I talk about it so much. I pretty much wrote an essay in my review.

Oh yeah! I really love that scene, accompanied with his special bgm. Yes, it's all in the eyes with him but I also like his voice modulation and dialogue delivery. I think this is his best performance.

This compilation video of the battle scenes of ALP, created by MK916 is enough to lay all doubts about the CGI to rest, I believe.

Rumoured to be a big budget production since it's a remake of one of the most successful and popular xian xia drama of all time in chinese dramaland plus it's a tencent production. We'll have to wait for more info on that front. Could be that they wanted comparatively new faces for this remake. All I know till now is that HYX is going to be couple with Ye Sheng Jia's character and that makes me so so happy and excited!!!!

They started shooting past weekend so pretty much confirmed I guess.

It's not a perfect drama but it had potential to be.aybe, that's why people were disappointed in it. I can say I have formed a very special attachment with the drama, actors and especially the couple. I've never shipped two people so hard lol. So I'm not that worried about the rating. It was 8.0 in September, now it has climbed upto 8.3. And I think it will continue to climb
