Although I do have to say, I've been really impressed with not only all her work so far in terms of acting but also with the kind of roles and scripts she has chosen. I get the feeling she is very careful about the scripts she chooses because all her roles so far display her range very well and favourably for her. She completely transforms in each of her roles and I never get the feeling that she is playing the same roles constantly, even though they may have the same traits. Whereas I get bored with some of the other actresses who seem like they're playing the same role again and again, even though they appear in many (often mediocre) dramas.

Yes, she is a great actress. So natural and sweet. She can portray all the emotions effortlessly. Honestly, I am stupefied that she is that beautiful or pretty by Chinese standards. Boggles my mind. I enjoy her acting more than most well actress's work.

Yes, I just saw that on Avenuex's channel. Can't wait. But i really want to see her as an FL in a period drama again too. (Hopefully with Wang Rui Chang 😋*fingers crossed*)

Yes, I've read that article and based on that I wrote my comment above. I just hope there's not that much aspect of unrequited love and I hope they get together quickly. I am really looking forward to seeing the chemistry between HYX and YSJ. They already look quite cute together and suit each other physically. I hope they hit it off as an on screen couple. I have loved all the CPs I've seen of HYX and she is my favorite Chinese actress. Ye Sheng Jia is also a good actor, i have a good impression of him because of A Love so romantic. So fingers crossed for this drama and this couple. I am excite to watch them.

True. I meant, i hope next year she gets projects with big productions where she can play lead roles. She is not a famous traffic actress but she can definitely act better than many others in her age range.

I think so too. Although I am concerned a little bit because, although I haven't watched the original chinese paladin, I have read some blogposts on it which led me to believe that many people hated Ah Nu's character because of the unrequited love aspect of Tangyu.
Seems too similar to what happened between Xiaoju and Shiyi and I know there were many who hated xiaoju too and sided with Shiyi. I don't wish for that to happen again to her :(

It was a head scratching moment for me too. The writers are definitely ones to blame because the actors did an amazing job and they have phenomenal chemistry. But yes, the last two episodes could've been executed better, character development wise
