Probably because there aren't any good dramas out and these are scrapping the bottom of the barrel?
Yes, I heard about the new guidelines. That's also unfortunate, I know the fans have been waiting fir years for some of these projects. Chinese dramaland works in really weird ways. P. S. changes my name on here, it's still the same on YouTube though.

But this always happens in the case of the so called "traffic" Popular actors' dramas. Even if the script and acting is mediocre, they still end up getting a lot of views and being very popular.
I really enjoyed this drama. It was very good! I just thought that was weird that her best friend decided to hide…
Yes, that was a little strange for me too, especially with the time lapse of 5 years. Maybe because she'd been burnt by her first love experience.... But it was weird for me too.
Brother, i would like to say sth to you. I think you only watched the drama nirvana in fire because there are…
Wow, what a coincidence. I will be starting Dear Diary once all the subbed episodes are uploaded. I am checking that out especially for Wang Rui Chang who really impressed me with his acting in A River Runs through It (a youth drama I highly recommend, it's a slow burn and more focused on friendship han romance), another one I watched was Unforgettable Love, it's good, nothing impressive though ; ver tropey. The chemistry between the couple and the cutest baby in it are the selling points. Another short form drama I'd recommend is Hold On, My Lady. It's a historical romcom which has only 4 episodes, hour long ones. Cutest couple, great chemistry and tight storyline. These are the only ones I'd recommend. Apart from these and The Long Ballad, I think I pretty much dropped all other dramas I'd started.

Even i haven't been able to get into a good historical rom com after TROTAR. I've watched a few contemporary ones this year which were pretty good but not all that memorable/rewatchable.
I miss him so much. Had gotten so used to seeing him every week from August to the beginning of October. Hope to see him in more lead roles. He's absolutely perfect as Lu Shi Yi in A River Runs Through It and I don't think I'll ever forget that drama, couple or that character in my life. It's the first that it has happened with me that I've dreamt of a fictional character or a fictional couple. Still can't move on from it and Wang Rui Chang is one of the biggest reasons why. It'll be really difficult to see him with other actresses for some time because they did such a great job with the TuJu CP in ARRTI.
I am in the same boat. I started rewatching again to accompany a new viewer and it feels like a new ride all over…
Hi!!! I have been haunting this comments section since the drama started airing and I'm still here lol. So good to see a fellow viewer! And you're right about their expressions and acting. And I love that those exact same expressions and traits continued even in their married life clip hehe. Their acting skills and chemistry is out of this world. I really hope we get to see them together again. Maybe if I keep saying that, it will actually happen in reality. Fingers crossed.
I agree with you. I read the novel and absolutely love it.I am not so sure about the main leads. I only watched…
I have seen her acting and , omg, it was unbearable for me. I had to drop dramas with amazing ratings like I've Fallen For You and Moonlight because I just couldn't take another moment of her overly 'cute' acting and high pitched baby voice. It's so forced and contrived that it didn't even look cute to me anymore. I was just not able to connect to her character at all, even if she proves to be a good actress, I'll not be able to tell since that filter of forced cuteness is always present in her actions. And Dylan Wang is also not my favorite, I could compare his acting to a literal stick in Miss The Dragon. I've only seen that one drama of his, and to be fair, it was a hot mess of a drama, script and production wise. So I am willing to give him a chance. If Esther Yu continues her baby like exaggerated cute acting, might end up dropping this one too. P. S : the styling and production do look topnotch though
It's been a month and I still keep coming back to this drama. It is currently holding 1st place in my heart. It…
I am in the same boat. I started rewatching again to accompany a new viewer and it feels like a new ride all over again. The actors are the most amazing part about this drama and I miss this couple so much 😭 i really wish to see WRC and HYX together again. This is the best chemistry with an FL that he's had in all the dramas he's been in.
No one knows but it's obvious that everyone except Xiaoju was in on the plan. Tao Tao is the bestest friend ever.
That was quick. It's quite a journey to be sure. But the actors and characters made it worthwhile. Watch their livestream too.... Some tid bits you can understand here and there hehe. I have watched it so many times because their interactions are so cute, especially Hu Yi Xuan and Jiang Zhuo Jun. They keep sending each other kisses and hearts lol. Also check out the cast photos posted above, from their bts. https://youtu.be/hB14lISeOEE
I find her character unlike a princess. I meant not just her bratty behaviour but also how she carries herself…
Lol same. I don't watch contemporary dramas, only historical ones mostly. The only contemporary dramas I've watched this year are Unforgettable Love and A River Runs Through It, only for Hu Yi Xuan. So the range that I've seen of JJY are just the same type of roles I see her in the historical dramas.
P. S. changes my name on here, it's still the same on YouTube though.

At 0:12 of this newly subbed video, you can see that he was overly attached to her head even in the BTS 🤣🤣
