As I said in my earlier comment, my assertion is based on a few series clips that I've watched on YouTube. I don't understand Chinese nor have I read the novel. My opinion is based only on the actors' mannerisms and body language on screen. From the 7-8 scenes I've watched, I didn't sense any special connection between them . Again as I said in my previous comment, maybe understanding the dialogues and seeing their expressions in that context might help in seeing the connection you're talking about.

I sense some distance/wall between the leads. Even when they're the only two people in the frame, they don't seem connected in that way. I think the dialogues go a long way in creating that connect, maybe with the subs, it'll be easier to ship this couple.

True, i haven't watched the drama in its entirety yet so this might seem premature but from what I've seen, I don't get the CP vibes from them yet. I get the chemistry from some of the other characters in fact who are not a couple in the drama... But so far, I don't believe this couple from the scenes I've seen till now. Maybe all of that will change once the subs are out.

Oh and her character does survive till the end, I spoiled myself to know that much at least hehe. She has a near brush with death though so it's going to be all dramatic. HYX aces the emotional scenes as well, she looks so natural when she cries. So I'm looking forward to those scenes as well. I think this drama will help us see the full spectrum of her range as an actress for which I'm really glad.

I am indeed a very big fan of HYX and , although at first I was worried about her screetime, after seeing a few clips, it's reassuring that she seems to be having a lot of scenes. I love seeing her with Reba, their scenes are so cute. I love the indulgent, sisterly smile Reba always gives Luo Luo. Ugh the wait for the subs is frustrating but I'm glad HYX is doing well and acting as per her character. The best thing I like about her is that even though her character is undoubtedly supposed to be cute, bubbly and cheerful, she does not resort to excessive pouting or child like actions. She still looks cute without looking juvenile.

Yes!!! Literally the same dress till now. :( could be because of her role as a butterfly spirit but they could've had more fun with her costumes for the same reason.
