i think i'd just go NC and sort my feelings out with a therapist before conforming my whole life and personality…
NC is not a option in traditional Asian culture. No therapist can help her as long as her father never acknowledges her. From cutting a harp string in front of her father to corruption, he never once guided her or her brother. Did he think kids will just magically learn empathy, respect and discipline without any intervention? Or did he think," I have provided them with a spare mother, she will teach them even tho they hate her for replacing their birth mother"?
She's not trying to get revenge. She is after money and power. "The car accident and destroying others' lives…
Raising kids, your own flesh and blood wrong is not a mistake. That's an unacceptable misstep. For yourself and also for the world. You don't scold a kid for once or twice or punish them severely for like until they are 5-6 years old. That's the only acceptable parenting mistake so far. But anything after that is damn care, carelessness, selfishness, narcissistic and intentional. If you are not a good parent and keep referring mistake to obvious Catastrophe, then you better not have kids. And don't even think about giving them a step mom just after they lost theirs as a replacement. Writers are not humanizing the children, they are humanizing their father. They added the accident just for us to loath them more so when she tried to kill her father we sympathize with the father and villainize her with motif. You are wrong. Regina was the real villain. She was so stupid to pronounce Lebanese as Lesbian and destroyed a teenagers childhood. She doesn't have common sense. NO one is comparing a teen drama with a catastrophic fatherhood.

No one intentionally tries to kill someone whom they love and respect. She loathes him. And her father would have never given the company to her anyway. He sees her as evil from even before all these drama. He neglected her from her rebellious teen years. He would have given the company to his trusted assistant. Her brother would be the CEO. She would have only gotten to be the president. And she knows that very well.
Nevertheless, what I'm saying is, yes she is evil. Her being evil is valid. The show is portraying the story in reverse manner. The protagonist is in the wrong here.
this drama should have been revenge of eldest daughter against her pervy dad... for whatever little time, she…
The stupid son could have cheated if he wanted to. But he is a loyal husband and father, and also a better son-in-law. I think he avoided all the path his father has taken but still loves his dad. The sister is loyal to her husband and child too, but is so involved in revenge that she neglects them. She despises her dad wholeheartedly.

If my dad pulls that shit, I'll kill him too and won't regret it. Her dad forced her to be evil. Instead of rearing the heartbroken kids who just lost their mother, he brought another woman, told them, "From now on call her Omma"
You only get one mother in your life, and there is no replacement. Step moms are nice, I know but she is the other mother. Mothers who give birth are different. (P.S: This situation is not same for adopted mothers tho). The winning and fighting she is talking about is against her brother, who got more love and father who moved on too quickly. She is not greedy for money. She wants the company that her mother built along side her father. The company is everything for her brother and father, so she wants to snatch that. The money laundering she did? Every single businessman in the world does that. Even her father did that. That's how he has a hidden room with gold, property docs and money, which probably has no records.
Would you ever forgive your dad if he got another woman pregnant when not even 1 year had passed since your mother's death? And when a year was barely complete, he married her and gave shares of the company that your mother helped him to make until her last breath. Even if he didn't love her, he should have waited and asked for his kids' blessings. Because he is literally replacing their mother without consulting them. I know the stepmother is understanding, but she is not that naive.
He did neglect the twins. He emotionally tortured them and created that invisible fight. Both Jae Gyeong and Bang Geul are just taking revenge for their mother. I don't know about you guys, but the car accident and destroying others' lives aside, Jae Gyeong's revenge is way more valid to me.
I think the nonexistent maid is actually herself. Those bites are not from monkeys. The academy was closed, so how did she survive there without her grandpa? Who knows what happened to her and what they did with her that she is so traumatized and had to create herself and comfort her younger self in her mind. Just like Its okay that's love kdrama's main lead.
I just started watching it
