Is this BL?I can't find a translation of the novel to verify if it is a danmei. But every time the two MLs meet…
Someone who read the novel informed me that it's a Danmei. It's strange that there are no tags like Bromance or Censored Adaptation Of Same-sex Original Work.
Watching this movie was a great chance to get familiar with the political heroes of South Korea. I envy Lee Han Yeol. He was only 21, so brave, and so mature. I wish I could die like he did, proudly shouting "Death to the killer regime!"
This movie is not for entertaining. I'm from a country which suffers from the dictatorship . I felt this drama…
Me too. You dropped this comment 4 months ago. Now our wish is coming true. We're getting close to meeting the end of this fantastic film on the streets of Iran. We won't forget, we won't forgive. 24-25-26 Aban.
Okay, I just binge watched this, but I'ma hold it right after episode 1 and wait till it ends. To whoever has the nerve to continue watching it: inform me if there is gonna be a character developer for the lesbian main lead and if the toxicity/queer baiting is gone. Based on what I got from the first episode, it's highly predictable that in the end both Rangrong and Sai will realize there are good males in the world and end up with them, so it will turn out that Rangrong wasn't actually a lesbian but an abused, traumatized straight woman! Can't bear to watch this under the tag "GL/Lesbian Romance"
I think the kiss only was a fantasy. Jin is actually in Bai Lang's house, to me.But I didn't get who is having…
I just watched the scene again, and I think all the lines were from Bai. The meaning of those sentences makes more sense this way as well. Otherwise, if there was a voice switch, the situation would become more complicated. Although it would be sweet if they simply shared a similar thought about wanting to get closer while they gazed into each other's eyes. Actually, I agree with you about the kiss. Because it's only ep 3 out of 12 and maybe for the storyline and their characters, it's too soon to get this close. In particular, Jin seems really tense, and I don't think he would suddenly change and be that open and easy-going just by the empathy he had for Bai Lang after catching him in the rain.
I think the eng sub made me confused a little. Did they actually meet in the rain and did the kiss actually happen, or was it all in his mind to avoid his stress during treatment? 'cause at the end, he thought "What if I imagine getting close to you? Can it distract me from being afraid?" Actually the preview for the next episode shows us that Jin is in Bai Lang's house, but I doubt it's again his imagination.
I can say he has an artist soul and a really good sense of philosophy by watching his first masterpiece, "180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us" Looking forward to his future works.
