I think the time skip of 2 years happened around the other episodes earlier on because I saw many X posts about how fl was in the company for 2 years around some point but just now I'm watching episode 13

Both have exes but ML's ex is married (To another person) so we shouldn't worry about her too much, but FL ex does come back and try to get back with her but she made it clear to him that she doesn't want to get back with him.
