i don't think it's necessary to discuss the novel in the drama page since aside from the general setting there…
And it's based on the book called Zhu Yan which gives rise to the drama and this is factually true too. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? If not for the book this page would be non-existent and this is factually true as well. That's all and if people want to comment on the book on this page it's their prerogative so just let it be.

The forcefulness of your comments doesn't come across as offering advice. It feels more like you are trying to dictate to me and again you stress in the above comment that 'This is a page about the drama, not the book.' which I already refuted in my previous comment to you so I won't rehash it all over again and others concur with me. Just because the people in China don't like something doesn't mean that the international community feels the same way. In fact I notice a lot of times dramas that are well-liked by the international community are often not well received in China. I am generally satisfied with the responses that I received and I don't feel that my comment gets lost in drama comments at all. It's all in the delivery not to make people feel that you are herding them off.

How do you know all this that the novel has been massively changed for the drama? The general assumption should be that the drama is made due to the popularity of the novel but you declare that few people read it. Where do you get all this information from? The heading for this section is just Comments and it does not say that it is restricted to the drama only. If enough people feel the same way as you then why not approach the administrator of this site and ask for some rules, restrictions or guidance to be added to the heading otherwise it is too arbitrary letting anyone to impose their will on another and dictate what should and should not belong in the Comments section. You aren't the administrator by any chance are you?

I can recognize some Chinese characters and in brackets it looks like tentative.
I am at chapter 148 right now and a big change happened. Things are going to get much more complicated. I am personally…
Are you talking about my comment or DramaSeen's? I'm just laughing my head off at what you possibly could mean by 'ceremony after the marriage'. Would you care to elaborate or maybe not? Don't worry, the next chapter is not posted yet but I doubt the leads would be able to endure ending up married to different people

I beg to differ, some novel discussion should be fine compared to the thousands of comments focusing on the drama that hasn't even started. We all know the drama will concentrate much more on the relationship between the two leads as that is what sells. I'm just surprised for a romance story that the author only started developing that arc towards the end of the novel. People should be aware of this otherwise they will get disappointed after investing so much time reading it. Don't get me wrong it's still a good story but if I had known ahead of time then I can decide whether to read it or just wait for the drama. And if I should choose to read it then I won't get frustrated at the lack of quality relationship time between the two leads for the greater part of the novel.

At least finally something happened, the first volume has 72 chapters and this second volume has already covered 76 chapters so probably ending soon. Don't worry I don't think they had gone that far as I suspect they are not too knowledgeable in that department. LOL
Now that we are into Part 2 of the drama where the focus is on the royal palace it would be very helpful if you could also put that royal family tree in Recent Discussions right above the comments. I have never posted in Recent Discussions so I don't know if it involves a lot more work. There are now over 3000 comments and with the significant interest in this drama more questions of the royal family tree will be coming and the answer will be buried in so many comments. Also is Lady Cheng (she had better not be related to CSS's family) a one-night stand and I notice you have a different name for her?
Please write if you can spare a moment a comment on Director Fei Zhen Xiang page as he ONLY has 7 comments, yes…
Exceptional director! Thanks for giving his full name and I will follow his future dramas. He knows all the subtleties and nuances to engage the audience and pull at the heartstrings. I wish we had him for 'Who rules the world' which had sub-par directing.
I'm real confused about all these princes and princesses. Are the third prince and third princess children of Consort Yue? The crown prince is obviously the empress's son but is the fifth princess also her daughter? Then there is this fifth prince who is Lady Cheng's son but who is she? I haven't come across second and fourth princes/princesses, also first princess, if they exist who are their mothers?
After reading up to chapter 140 even if the emperor is dying I don't see the rush for the ML to get himself a crown princess that is not the FL. So disappointing! How can there be a happy ending? Being the crown prince it's not like the ML can go against rigid imperial protocol later on and discard the crown princess for the FL. Also there's no way FL will enter into a threesome and be a concubine. If this is what happens to her that's not a good ending as well as if they end up with separate partners. So far there has not been that much interaction between the two leads and it's almost to the end of the novel. The novel's main focus is the plot and the romance/relationship seems to be of much lesser importance like just an add-on. Has anyone read the whole novel and can give me some spoilers? I'm almost ready to drop the novel and hope that the drama is better in the romance department.
Thank-you for sharing the same 'jealous' sentiments. I made this claim a day ago and I received a lot of flak…
I just love your expression 'I have a level of unbothered that can rival a dead man.' I spent most of yesterday sparring with some people who took offense at my 'jealous' opinion by telling them it's alright to disagree respectfully but not alright to criticize. Today so far it has been quiet. This drama has really provoked people and one can actually learn life lessons from it. Come to think of it I once took a psychology course which can't even compare with this drama. Well it has been fun chatting with you and maybe some more as the drama progresses.

I posted my jealous theory 2 days ago and I am still getting negative comments like 'the word "jealous" put everyone else off', that I should have used a 'better expression than jealous', etc. I'm surprised that there are all these mother defenders/protectors who will minimize CSS's mother's abuse as just tough-love. I feel sorry for victims in general as they have no voice in such situations but I think CSS is starting to make a distinction that her mother is no good for her and to get away. You go, girl!
