may be a bit late to answer but ''legend of Chu an Han'' (named ''king's war'' on netflix) might be what you're looking for! it was made by the same director and also used some similar actors in the cast. The story happens before ''Three kingdoms'' as it's basically the fundation of the Han empire. I loved it, was very epic and keeps you entertained

I really really hope WYW doesn't somehow end up going to the US or meet up with her mom again... She's so annoying and frustrating, doesn't deserve to be part of WYW and her father's life whatsoever. She's basically saying that WYW's father didn't raise her well enough and that WYW is in need of counseling although she is clearly doing fine by herself and has a loving father. There are 83 chapters so far because the story is still ongoing! The chapters are divided into 4 seasons which are actually the 4 seasons (spring, autumn, winter, summer) and now we are in the autumn part, which is why I thought the drama would be longer in length but its fine, as long as it gets an adaptation I will be looking forward to it
Im totally looking forward to this one!!!! A little bit disappointed that it isn't a one hour episode drama tho... I really hope that they'll be able to cover up to gaeul's flower although it doesn't seem too likely but let's not lose hope~
