Eventually they did end up divorced. But that came with a shit load of therapy and multiple mental breakdowns and a screwed up view on marriage and relationships. True but also the adults are to be heavily blamed. Her mom knowingly put her and her child in that situation. She knew the kind of man he is and after what he did to her years ago.
