i didn't watch trailer fo next ep, so FL is framed or no?
It looks like she was framed but I am not sure. All ik is that she's probably not in any real trouble because the episodes 23 and 24 are her going to rescue Crown Prince and then happy ending.
Watching the recent ending trailers...I knew it!!! I knew that's who the villain was going to be. However, I did not expect that one docile consort to also be in the mix but honestly it's not that surprising cause that's normally the case in dramaland.
I saw that last year had some very good Xianxias like: Love Between Fairy and Devil, Blue Whisperer and Immortal…
TSL definitely raised the bar for me in terms of ML and the relationship bonds. I feel like we won't get another reasonable wholesome ML in a xianxia for awhile 😭
What do you guys think about the recent trailers? I feel like there has to be a reason why HL acted recklessly and killed that one guy. I wonder if they are going to put her in jail for it or if they will be able to prove that it was her?
I would love to see them in another collaboration. During the live Landi asked if she was allowed to talk about…
Yes, I have never understood why script writers make ML's justify doing horrible things to the FL because they love them and want to protect them. How does harming someone protect them. I wish that trope was less common.
i think red robes are military officers as it was kind of implied in ep 4 when liu li was doing the qingya battle…
I thought that was the purple robes? HL wears bright red robes different from the ones the military officers were wearing in ep 4. They were wearing purplish robes. And the eldest prince was on the side where everyone was wearing bright red robes...I got confused because HL comes from a military family but once she's in court she wears red robes and her father wears purple robes.
Also, can someone explain this to me, what's the difference between red robes and purple robes in court? Is it status? Social class? Experience? Or a combination of all 3?
am I the only one whink that female fashion and hairstyle in this drama looks Japanese?
I don't think so. The hairstyles remind me of song and tang dynasty. Plus if there was too much influence of Japanese fashion in this show, there is no way it would have passed censorship and there would be more criticism online.

I love costume dramas more than modern dramas too. I like some republican era dramas and I've noticed that too (the kissing thing). I want to see him in a villain role again though 🤣🤣 but I don't want LLD's character to be his victim or anything.
