Yes, I know he is. But I wanted to know what leads up to the sword scene shown in the trailers. There's clips of GYX fighting palace guards/army by himself as well as HZ running and trying to hold him while the army pushes her away and he's badly injured. Those clips should be occurring during ep 28 I think. So I just wanted to know why or if anyone remembers what chapter this occurs during as the novel is super long.

He could pretend. And I more so meant I wouldn't eat anything sent to me. Also, up till that moment, he's already been avoiding eating anything sent to him by others.

There's snow and a horse emoji for the next episodes so maybe HZ gets punished and sent to where her grandfather is? But in the book, I don't remember that happening. Only that she went to see grandpa and came but just in time for grandma to die. Could be remembering that wrong though. Excited to see what happens. Wish the trailers were out already.

I knew it was poisoned. Tbh, if the emperor was my brother, I would never eat anything sent to me that I didn't watch get prepared. I'd fake illness to avoid eating anything he sent.
