He Xing Ming keeps saying he's not interested in Rong Shan Bao anymore and that she's his enemy now, but the looks he keeps giving her, and the looks of jealousy in episode 12 say otherwise. As for the Yang brothers, I'm excited to see how this younger twin differs from his brother. I wonder if he'll become obsessed with Shan Bao as well.
Now here's my theory and how his brother died. 1. I think that He Xing Ming, Rong Yun Shu, and Rong Yun Xi all had something to do with it, and based on the previews and clips I've seen on Xiaohongshu, worked together to frame Shan Bao's little sister, Rong Yun Wan. I think the person who actually did the killing is either Rong Yun Shu ('blind') sister or Bai Ying Sheng. 2. I think somehow, some way, that idiot, I mean, 4th sister Rong Yun Yin, will end up taking the fall for this somehow? But maybe that's too soon? Is this wishful thinking? Most likely. Lmao. She's just working my last nerves, and I need her karma to happen quickly.
English title: The Illegitimate’s Gambit: Rising to Mistress
Sinopses:: “ In her past life, the female lead was given to her brother-in-law as a concubine when her legitimate sister became pregnant. Unexpectedly, the day her sister gave birth was also the day she met her demise. Reborn into a new life, she schemed her every step carefully. First, she won over her brother-in-law's influential father, securing her desired marriage into the Duke's household as the mistress. Then, she reclaimed her position as the legitimate daughter and unleashed her power.”
Y'all need to stop bringing weibo drama to this platform. It's getting annoying. Nobody is forcing y'all to watch this. And tbh, both czy and wjy have had certain members of their fandoms be... extremely weird...throughout this whole thing. The crew has also treated both of them weirdly at different points. Before the drama officially started filming, the film team was reportedly treating wjy weirdly. Then, after filming, it was czy. And every once in a while, when I come to check comments on here for fun updates, etc, it's just people throwing random unnecessary shade at one of the leads.
@Yuanyuanzi said it best, "A good drama requires the combined effort of both the male and female leads, especially in a romance drama like this one. It can’t be great if only one side does it alone. At least show some respect to the actors and actresses who spent four months working hard on this drama, is that really so hard?"
All in all, take your nonsense fandom wars elsewhere, please and thank you.
The Emperor's Mouthpiece《皇帝的嘴替女官》 The emperor, certain ministers, and her potential love interest can hear her inner voice. The Emperor forces her to work for him so he can easily find out who is a corrupt minister in his court.
Does anyone have the link to the novel this is based on? Apparently, there are three parts. She ends up with one of each in the different series from what I read on xiaohongshu. But no one provided a link....
This show is starting to piss me off. I get that the focus isn't romance, and that's fine, but it's 32 episodes long, and on ep 29 they are still doing this back-and-forth nonsense? Is the script writer unwell? What's going on.
