in the novel there is much more going between Amai and CYQ and if only drama scenario would follow up that part…
Thank you! I skimmed some chapters before but I forgot when she was held hostage by him. The chapter I remember reading was them pretending to be a married couple to not blow their cover to the elderly couple.
The comments I've seen on Weibo are similar to the comments on this forum. Lmao, everyone has the same criticism. I'm wondering if any of the production/screenwriting people will ever address these concerns.
Tbh, romantic-wise, the only one who has chemistry + build-up is CQ because we know their backstory, what their past relationship was, and why they have strong emotions toward each other.
CYQ has chemistry with AM but it makes no sense that after a short while, he's asking her if she's ever had feelings/liked him. She hasn't known you that long. As for our ML...tbh I'm still not understanding what made them like each other...the fact that she's a woman pretending to be a man and he packed some stuff for her?? Hmm...
Even her relationship with Xiu'er makes more sense....sigh. They should have stuck to how things were in the novel or ditched the romance completely. Tbh, I hope she ends up with no one in the end. Also....I don't remember CYQ's brother dying in the novel...did I miss something or did they just randomly add that part?
Hmm, after today's episode I feel like Chen Qi might not be the total bad guy in FL whole family massacre. But…
The story is unfolding differently from what I remember in the novel, although I skimmed it so that could be the case too. What I predicted above, I don't remember being in the book, I just assumed that based on what he said.
Is it true that in the novel Chang Yu Qing is actually the first male lead but they changed him to second lead…
From what I gathered no. It's just in the novel she's not in love with the ML she's in love with CYQ but due to circumstances and some things he does, they don't end up together.
