Shall we get a move on with the Zornia storyline already? I like the characters but the pacing is 🐌. Frankly, I am now noticing some unnecessary shots like too much dancing of extras, beauty store chitchat, close up of a tea cup being handed over, etc.that could shave off a few seconds. I am all for aesthetic shots but goodness me, let's use the screen time for more character/story progress now.
Will continue to watch for Xixi and Song Yi but will keep expectations low now.
One thing I really loved was how pretty Song Yi looked in that peach orange dancer's dress! 😍 I almost forgot to add enjoying the gals getting their own fight scene in the tea house. 💪

I know. I watched the OG Korean movie and parts of the Kdrama, too. Those versions were more poignant regarding social stigma and being subject to rumors. I posted about it in my observations for ep1-6. FYH's director and writer seemingly want to keep this light so far so they only touched on it briefly in that tavern scene. There is so much potential for social commentary if they delve into the face shifting and even the face blindness without making them into just comedic elements but I don't see any of it being realized yet. 🤔
