When will Netflix version be released? And why do you think there will be problems with censorship?
About release date, I've no idea. We all familiar with Chinese censorship, and there are many scenes and things in book that is related to their history there is no way that they will allow to pass that scenes there are many cultural revolution parts.
XuKai has 3 dramas coming up in 2023 and every drama of his have potential to be explode, hope he'll have brilliant year and gain popularity because everyone saying he is still not a traffic actor and waiting to explode. In my opinion he so underrated and better than some so called traffic actors.
Still unsure, how they are going to pull of this brilliant and complex book, I'm still too early to judge but, this book is insanely clever and there are many scenes and plot that Chinese censorship would never allow to pass. Let's see what happens, there is also Netflix version coming up.
The popularity of this drama is at it peak, It exceeded 8800 heat index on IQIYI, 25000 on tencent, crossed 2.0 index on datawin and got more tv ratings than flight to you and meet yourself on it's very first day.
For me this drama is still underrated in Mainland as well as in Foreign countries... I can't describe how this drama is a brilliant piece of work 'Masterpiece' 🔥

You can easily watch on WeTv web in max. quality 720p which is pretty good... just go WeTv web and search joy of life, but you can't download it you can just watch online. Happy watching... There are another way but that is illegally...
