one thing that bothered me is 28yrs old actor playing high school student.
not everyone has a babyface and its totally fine. he looks 28 as he is. looked super good excluding the high school scenes

I felt the same during the movie omg. In the movie, Ren and Mayuka's relationship looked almost platonic. but in drama they actually were going well.

Ren not eating sweets in front Mayuka because she can't have sweets...it just shows how considerate he is. but the author made it look like 'he is not himself around her' 😒

also Ninako annoyed the hell out of me in season 2. while Ando is better in drama than the movie. and Ren....he just exists💀

when did I say his life was perfect before? I simply mean she added more sufferings for both. she even got accidentally pregnant and he had to come back just for that. he was gonna study abroad if it wasn't for her.

and let me repeat. it has nothing to with the gender.

its not about patriarchy. its about grown adult messing up a minor's life. I'd say the same if the genders were reversed.

1. the ML was 17(or may be even younger) when they filmed it, he had to kiss 26yrs old costar on screen. They could have skipped the whole skinship thing. the story would not be affected.

2. the whole plot is weird AF. she sleeps with her student(minor) and even gets pregnant and decides to keep the baby. people even keep wondering if its her fiance's baby or ML's. this is a whole new level of humiliation. ML's whole damn life got messed up for this stupid woman. I'd say the same thing if the genders were reversed. I HATED THE FL SO MUCH.

3. I often got confused between FL and ML's mother. they looked similar. the main couple looked awkward as well for this reason.

"meet me after school'' did better job with this same plot I think. casting too.

I just finished the anime and WOW. I loved it. Teacher-student romance is so damn wrong but this one is different as they know each others before becoming teacher student.

Kawai is still not over Hijri after 3yrs. he just proposed her right after breaking up with Haraguchi. means Haraguchi was a rebound/fling. and now he is back to her because Hijri rejected him and Haraguchi got pregnant accidentally. TALK ABOUT MESSY ADULT RELATIONSHIPS.

all these could be avoided if Akira didnt get obsessed with an engaged woman and Haraguchi didn't constantly throw herself at an engaged man.the again there wouldn't be any plot without these *sigh*

oh I spoke too soon. 3rd episode and Kawai turned out to be a cheater as well. He is with Haraguchi all the time. I should have known. This woman seemed shady since day one.
