I agree 100%. The main focus of this should've been the father and daughter relationship

I expected a somewhat grounded medical drama... but it's quite dramatized lol. It's kinda similar to the Japanese Team Medical Dragon series, with a maverick doctor assembling a team and shaking up a hospital. If you're willing to suspend disbelief, it's a highly enjoyable show.

I thought it was okay. From the insane amount of hype I was expecting to be blown away but so far it's decent. Cinematography is pretty average but the fight scenes are good. I'm liking the interactions between the leads and I also like that he found out early

This series does an excellent job of showing how suffocating her life is with a paranoid mother at home, secrets about her sister that the family elders conceal, and the gossip and bullying she faces outside. I'm glad she's trying to see things from a different perspective and not just parroting what her mother tells her about her sister. I just wish she would be more cautious about who she meets/seeks info from, but her rashness is understandable given her age and desperation

Man, Cao Dun doesn't disappoint when it comes to production quality. Really good start so far
