Indeed! But many people in the comments just don't get it!!!!
As people mingle, they explore new ideas and notions. They form relationships and come to hold some people dear to their hearts. Those dear ones not explicitly, but subtlely bring changes in their behaviour, which maynot surface easily, but when the need arises it does. For Huiju, it holds the same.
Indeed! But many people in the comments just don't get it!!!!
Exactly! People are so enamoured with superficiality, that they fall to recognise that these characters are human as well. Just like us, and they are complex and multi-faceted just like us. And honestly, if Huiju hadn't broken down — it would have been very unrealistic. Doesn't make sense of how someone couldn't break down, when they can save themselves but not the person they have come to love. So much so that they are even willing to bend themselves in front of the person they have hated ever since their existence.
Okay....now I get it!!!! Huiju's decision and announcement of divorce I-AN adds to the mental stress he's been facing leading to a physical collapse. Thus, we see him in the bed with IV and drip and all. When Huiju gets the news, she despite the palace gates closing or not runs to I-AN stays by his side, these fellas make up and get together. I get it, thank you so much IU for spoiling us with the image of I-AN lying on the bed with a drip. Because his blue/black pajamas match the one we see in the trailer of episode 10!!!!
Exactly. People want her to be some Goddess with eternal power. She is a human, her power was just a facade so…
Exactly! My point. And what we see is merely a single episode of just a few minutes of weakness. In the next episode, they get together and they will fight together against everything. So excited to see — them v/s the whole world!!!
Y'all just don't have patience and understanding. Do you know that Huiju is not brought up in the royal or aristocratic environment. If it had been business, she could have helped. But, she doesn't and it has been even a week since, she got married to him. Becoming a freaking royal and mastering the skill of deception, scheming, etc is difficult and getting accustomed to this suffocating royal environment for someone who has neve cared for rules is also difficult. Right now, they are been hit by problems after problems, and on top of that, this isn't Huiju's forte. Even I-AN who is a royal, is finding it difficult and on top of that, her friend, oh sucks, that snake of a PM and friend is also not helping. From every side, our girl is blocked — so the last thing she can do is seek help from her father, who is not so fatherly but whatever. Her begging and bending herself down for the man she loves — is an act of love. This also humanizes her and remember, it has not been a week since she was poisoned. The mental stress has also affected her recovery to a certain extent. Huiju being helpless and being on her knees and asking for help — is humanizing her character storytelling, unlike how that wasn't the case for the car accident and to a certain extent, she was also a bit helpless in that because of her nephew-in-law, but still handled it well. You tell me, what if you are thrown into this new world, with scheming, public scrutiny and problems right after you started recovering from getting poisoned in your own wedding day, and voila, the poison was for your husband, who you have started to love.At times, being human is also being weak. Humans aren't strong at the times and it is okay. But, I feel they might reunite in the next episode, because the Huiju I know won't give false hope. They probably would have reunited and now, are going to smash the PM, Daebi Mama and her father to pieces!!!!!
Apparently, a special episode is also to be released for Perfect Crown!! Maybe, this time, it is going to be a happy ending — no k-trauma finally...IU and BWS, please, we beg you guys!!! Stay alive and happy for the love of God!!!!!
The hate is feeling forced!!! And you are looking like a child throwing a tantrum, because they have nothing to do. And you as an adult, probably have no job which makes you say all of this and have all the time in the world. For the sake of God, open your eyes.....and observe, understand the nuances and read between the lines to understand the beauty of this drama — please keep your tantrums and rant to yourself.
Adding to this also there is a lot of criticism about Byeon woo seok’s acting. please watch ep 8 people. I literally…
Exactly! And someone in the comments said that I-AN is quite open. Do they even know how he acts with Queen Mother, her father, the PM and other officials — he carries this sense of authority and finality. His true emotions are only expressed around the people he trusts and you can clearly see how he has started opening up to Huiju. And him, crying while holding Huiju infront of his aide and her sister-in-law further showcases the development and how far has been successful in removing the chains of suppression that he was tied with over the years by his father's strict and ruthless discipline.
To be honest, the criticisms surrounding this drama have been present since the very beginning. Had it not already…
Exactly! Perfect Crown cleverly uses unfamiliar tropes, and uses familiar tropes in a refreshing way that doesn't leave you frustrated — it makes you think about the ongoing events and eagerly wait/root for the main couple.
Reading the comments, makes me enraged. This drama requires a certain level of patience and observation. And yes, it does need 16 episodes or atleast, 14 episodes — to make the world building, especially Huiju's role as a Grand Princess even more elaborate. But, other than that, it is not required — the drama has a fast pace, nuance and at times, metaphorical/visual representation of stating things. You need to watch carefully and understand things, rather than just coming and blabbering here. And yes, I understand the script can be a bit overwhelming with so many events — but the suspense and romance it builds is the dopamine that keeps you addicted. And actually, there probably won't be a single villain, as per my analysis and observations. It will be atleast 2 and a maybe, a hidden or secret villian — I'm not stating this as a fact, but as a mere observation and result of connecting the dots. If you can't appreciate something because of your lack of understanding, patience, observation and skills — look elsewhere, don't spoil everybody's mood.
I swear to God! If y'all don't know how to appreciate a good kdrama — the comedy, the nuance, the romance, the…
Also, Huiju getting a contract made makes complete sense. After what happened in ep 5, and her being a businesswoman and a woman — she will need assurance which the drafting the contract does. And I-AN kept it safely in his freaking locker, where his late brother's edict is, and it only opens with his fingerprint and is hidden behind a decor in his room. So, they are not stupid and I am suspecting the Prime Minister. Because, since, all things of his private residence was sealed and taken for investigation. And Min oversees the investigation, he has the access to them — he could have possibly leaked it, or maybe somebody else? or maybe, just as the Queen Mother said, his restraint has erupted in ways he doesn't even know, or realised.
