There was a scene a few episodes ago where Chairman advised Gyeongchae not to make it obvious that she is protecting Seri. Because if others found out, there will be a lot of issues.
So I am guessing Chairman is well aware of Seri is Gyeongchae's biological daughter.

JeA, thank you for bringing it to my attention. I read all the subtitles of the preview but missed an important sentence by Gyeongchae to her dad of what she left behind in the US. 🤭
In my earlier comment 2 weeks ago, I wrote that Stella's son and Gyeongchae must have been in love in the US. Because he did not come from a chaebol family, Chairman opposed to their dating or living together. And ... that he hired killers on Stella's son. My theory is likely wrong.

I did ponder about Gyeongchae's character as cruel. However, she could have changed to be "scary" and cold-hearted after being abused by Stella's son and later rescued by her dad. Chairman tried to instill harsh and cruel treatments of their enemies to Gyeongchae. But she was only half cruel to Seolhui and Miso. Then Chairman pressurised her to act more harshly to them so that they cannot stand up again.
Anyway, let's wait eagerly for next week's episodes.
