If you have $10 million, why the hell did you NOT hire security personnel to escort you and your money to the bank? If and if it costs say $50,000 to hire them, what is $50,000 compared to 10 million as well as your own safety?
In the preview, Jiyeon was crying and saying something to Darim. All of us know, for sure, Jiyeon must be asking Darim for some kind of help regarding Gangju.
All of us do not know who we have to seek help from one fine day. It could, very well, be a person whom we have hurt and despised. I need to remind myself of this lesson to be kind and humble to one and all.

I do respect your opinion on Seyeong. Please let me explain in detail why I felt sorry for Seyeong. Did you notice how Myeongji threaten to abandon Seyeong when she said she could not endure the guilt and stress and she wanted to die. Myeongji ruthlessly said that both of them should die that very night. We are only shown Seyeong rebelling strongly against her mother in this event. I felt sorry for Seyeong because her dad has passed on since she was young like 8 or 9 yo. Since then, her mum was her only close relative whom she could rely on and looked up to. Unfortunately, this mum ingrained wrong and evil values in her - all in the name of financial stability and then groomed her to covet what were not hers. This is my take on Seyeong but I am definitely not on her side as she has turned into a Gyeongseong monster made by Myeongji. 🥴🫣
That means Jiyeon is only accepting Darim if Darim could help in any way to get Gangju out of his coma.
It is not acceptance but more of using Darim as Jiyeon is at her wits' end.
